Thats why white shoe law firms don't have "consulting arms" similar to Blackrock. It's unethical as well considering that lawyers gain "sensitive information" which can easily be used for insider trading. The two are completely opposite fields. Investment consultants take risk and are aggressive, while a lawyer's job is generally to be defense and limit risks. It's interesting that in 2077, law firms are allowed to also act as investment and financial consultants. It's the equivalent of merging Goldman Sachs and Baker McKenzie.
