- I have had the joy of working with a very small and talented team for the last 10 months to create a Cyberpunk 2077 visual novel - Cyberbang 2069. Initial release coming December 18, 2021 with a full release coming Summer 2022!
- This game has a lot of potential and if it follows No Man's Sky example it can do it.

Posted: 26 Nov 2021 02:46 AM PST So yesterday I used the Black Friday deal to get my hand on the Cyberpunk. Previously I did not buy it, for two reasons: I was kinda burned out on the open-world games (the main reason) and I did not want to ruin my first playthrough by encountering too many game-breaking bugs. That's why early on I decided to hold on buying it (avoid streams and youtube playthroughs of the game) and wait a bit till it's patched and a bit cheaper (since buying full-price AAA games is a luxury for me these days). Yesterday I started to play in on stream (and I was a bit worried, that the game will crash or it will soft lock), but IT'S GREAT. "The internet" spent the last year trying to convince that this game is so broken it's unplayable, buuuuuut.... it's not. Yeah, I encountered some bugs, but they are just funny to me, as they don't affect my gameplay. So yeah, if anybody is still on the fence, should they buy and play it, I would say go for it. Especially now when it's on sale everywhere. EDIT 1, for clarification, because I forgot that this is Reddit...: I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND THAT A YEAR HAS PASSED AND THAT THE GAME HAS BEEN IMPROVED. I'M NOT DOUBTING THE BAD EXPERIENCES PEOPLE HAD PLAYING IT A YEAR AGO. YOUR FEELINGS (AS DO MINE) ARE VALID. [link] [comments] | ||

That montage at the beginning makes me sad Posted: 26 Nov 2021 07:21 AM PST I played the crap out of CP2077 when it came out close to a year ago and I did beat it. I figured I'd start a new save since there have been 3 large patches and I now have a series X and a 4K tv. First off, the performance is soooooo much better than it was last time I played it. Basically night and day. Started nomad this time as it's the last intro I haven't done. I don't think I realized what an absolute missed opportunity that montage at the beginning was until now. I understand the devs didn't have time to add gameplay for that montage in, but you could have actually developed a relationship with Jackie in that time. In the montage you get into NC, meet his mom, his gf, the augments guy, you buy an apartment, you get beat up, you rob corpos… it looks fun as fuck!! I know this has been mentioned many times in all the complaints against CP2077 but I really really hope the montage becomes a series of playable missions in a free DLC sometime relatively soon. This game has a lot of potential and if it follows No Man's Sky example it can do it. Posted: 26 Nov 2021 06:24 AM PST I played this game on release and I was really disappointed by it, contrary to the false narrative that "IT WAS THE BUGS!" the mayor problem with the game was the lack of features the game had, all those features that were "promised" on many videos and interviews etc were not there, we were promised basically GTA cyberpunk RPG and we didn't got that, we also were promised a lot on the starting paths and the story but those also failed to deliver and those endings with no aditional gameplay when you beat the game only help to make you feel more misserable. A year later and I understand what the game did great and what makes me miss it: the soundtrack, the world, that amazing fucking city and in general the great atmosphere of the game. I just feel it is wrong to let this game die, so I hope the company keeps working on it and give all the stuff they "promised" because this game IMO deserves it. No Man's Sky did it, they give all the promised features and now they have given even more than what they have promised and NMS is truly a fantastic game, this comeback can still be done with CP2077 they just need the will to do it. Also want to say something to all those people saying the game is "perfect" or trying to gaslight others into making them believe the game is fine as it is: If Hello Games had listened to it's fanboys they would have never improved the game at all, there were people back then telling NMS was perfect as it was and that the people demanding more from it were "wrong" for expecting more than what it was, they were also covering the developers from the lies they told etc. same gaslighting and same shilling. I'm glad Hello Games dind't listened to those people and I hope CDPR doesn't listen to this people here either. It is fine to like something but failing to see room for improvement or failing to see the flaws is just blinded fanatism and that does no good to anyone, doing that hurts everyone including yourself from getting a better product. Also the same to people that just hate the game unreasonably, the game has a lot of potential and has a very good atmosphere, some systems are good, the world, the amazing city and all the things I mentioned, it is not all bad and for the sake of this good things IMO it is fair to wish the game well and to hope that CDPR doesn't give up and sees the potential that it is there that many like me see. Just bought the game on ps5, it keeps crashing between loading screens Posted: 26 Nov 2021 09:10 AM PST Bought the game yesterday, I'm really enjoying it but it keeps crashing on my ps5, mainly when it's going between loading screens at the end of the mission, forcing me to complete parts of the missions over and over again, anything I can do to stop this?
