- Have to admit, the only reason i return to this game once a while is :
- Just a photo dump of a couple different V’s I’ve created.
- Biggest missed opportunity CDPR ever made. Now we just sit and watch other NPCs talking one camera angle whole game. V is not silent protagonist or blank character, First Person storytelling does not fit for this game.
- Johnny Silverhand. Rockerboy. Night City legend. But most importantly, a good friend.

| Have to admit, the only reason i return to this game once a while is : Posted: 29 Nov 2021 07:41 AM PST To drive amongst the neon lights of NC on a rainy night with my favourite songs playing in the background. The best thing this game ever does. Atmosphere. They truly nailed the picture of a dystopian world. But that's all about it. It upsets me to know the 95% of the buildings i see are mere 3D models with nothing inside. And people i see barely function with their horrendous AI. Also, story and character development are too linear that i don't feel like going for another playthrough. Combat becomes a joke once you are 30 levels and one shot everything. (I can one shot enemies with pistol even though i only have 3 points on Reflexes.) That pretty much leaves me to this. Enjoying the beauty of Night City and taking Photo mode screenshots. | PSA to these new players: Form your own opinion Posted: 29 Nov 2021 01:17 AM PST You don't need some random on the internet telling you why the game is or isn't bad, more so from people that seem annoyed at others enjoying the game. There are no "missing features and content" or "shallow" mechanics, the dev diary videos that they posted were from when the game was still under heavy development and they were meant as a small insight into what the game was gonna be about. In those same videos, you can witness changed mechanics from earlier diary videos because that's how game development works, and that's why all those videos had "Work in progress - does not represent the final look of the game" warnings on them. You don't force a cumbersome or annoying mechanic into a game just because you showed it in a video 3 years ago, but to get to the point, that's what some people here consider "missing features and content". The new positive reviews show that the dev's work in trying to fix and patch the game have been working, although they undoubtedly still have a long road ahead as the bugs and lack of polish are indeed still an issue. That's all, just enjoy the game, and if you're still unsure about it, GoG gives you a 30day refund period. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 29 Nov 2021 05:32 AM PST So I just completed the game, did the Panam ending. I get to the part where I have to fight Smasher, no big deal, man gets clapped lol. But he has some tasty ass loot on him, 2 legendary guns and an eye piece and I'm thinking "Finally some good guns" but literally the rest of the story after I have no enemies to shoot, I literally just get the guns and then go jack in to Alt. After I beat the game it says i can go back to nightcity from an earlier save, so I do that and I notice none of the stuff I got was there, and obviously I understand "well it's it's earlier save, you didn't have those things in an earlier save" but still, what was the point of having him drop those weapons and me collecting them, if I can literally never use them at all. Which led me to think, I feel like cyberpunks post game system is a little undercooked, they couldn't of just had V return to night city every once in a while and that explains why you can continue to do missions? The idea of returning to an earlier save, being my only option to continue in a sort of liminal state of progression seems underwhelming, even when they add New Game+, I'll still never see anything from the story line cause it'll just send me back to right before I made any major decisions.
