| Posted: 12 Aug 2021 07:22 AM PDT There are a lot of websites in the game. Many of them are hidden behind specific networks related to specific districts. There is some lore in there, some satire on the media in general, some stuff updated with the storyline in the game, general - trivia. In the 2019 guide, there is nothing about the division of the internet into districts - it is generally called CityNET. Interestingly, the possibility of using it was to be provided by DataTerms, which are scattered all over the city (and you could check the weather there to!). Currently, they are only used for calling taxis / fast travel. There is an official comment in the guide to use only official websites and not access any unauthorized ones. There is also a handwritten comment from the former owner of the guide, who mentions several websites and recommends checking them out. These are funny names that refer to famous websites: silk road, pirate betting, pleasueres of NC. This last website is in the game and can be viewed in several ways. Some pages clearly contain the addresses of other pages. What for? Above each page there is a large box with the website address. What for? And most importantly - the official guide from 2020. It contains a list of hidden / quest-related websites. Literal translation: "There are a lot of websites on the Night City network that you can visit from any computer. The table lists all the quest-related websites. Visiting them will give you additional information and is sometimes necessary to keep the story moving. If you miss any of them, use these links. " And then there is a table with the addresses of these websites. What for? How can I use these addresses from any computer? How can I access these websites from any computer? Well, I can't. In my opinion, this proves that before we were able to manually enter website addresses and discover hidden pages. Sounds like fun, unfortunately it has been removed. Now, there is simply a list of default websites loaded on each computer and only these we can view. But what's interesting - the link system itself works and by clicking on the appropriate places we can go to other pages, "surf" the Internet. But in a very limited way .... [link] [comments] | ||

I remember I posted something like this a few months ago and people were saying that the Witcher 3 had no DLC at that point either, but now there's no excuse. It's terrible to see games with potential being abandoned like this. EDIT: I'm not expecting any DLC, I was just thinking about all of that wasted potential, and I wanted to see if fanboys were still in denial... and they sure are. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 12 Aug 2021 05:11 PM PDT I've been wanting to play the game in Spanish ever since it released but as I live in the UK the only languages available here on consoles are English, Polish and Russian... Do you think we will finally be getting downloadable language packs as part of the free dlc when it is eventually released? I know this is something they have previously done with the Witcher 3 and so I'm really hoping we get this support for CP2077 too. In today's world where people of different nationalities coexist worldwide it seems rather ridiculous to not make every language available to download in every country as standard. | Posted: 12 Aug 2021 07:35 PM PDT So I installed the game 3 weeks ago. My PC has an i7 10700kf and a RTX 3080 with a 1440p 144hz monitor. I put everything at maximum graphically wise and it ran really well with an average of 80fps. Game was making full use of the GPU at 100%. Go on vacation for 5 days, come back and eager to play the game but suddenly the game only seems to use around 50-55% of the GPU. FPS drops top 30s-40s... Tried restarting the game, updating drivers and no changes. Went back to other games like Doom Eternal and everything runs very well so it is only Cyberpunk it seems. Any advice?
