If Cyberpunk 2077 had the modding capability of Skyrim, no one would be complaining about bugs, empty promises, and missing content.

Just saying. I'm aware it's pretty much impossible for CDPR to release the Cyberpunk 2077 version of Creation Kit. Still, I can't help but wonder. Imagine making your own quests, opening all those locked doors in the open world, implementing brand new radio stations, revamping whole systems... The community would be all over it. Instant Game of the Decade, its sins deemed insignificant and forgiven.

    PLEASE, give us an implant...

That will let us "tune" to radio stations without being in a car. It's completely lore friendly and can easily be implented it the upcoming DLC, please! Thank you CDPR

I do miss playing Cyberpunk 2077

    Posted: 28 Jul 2021 07:40 PM PDT

You know, I have well over a hundred hours played in cyberpunk 2077, and I stop playing after the underwhelming ending. I did the thing where you have to have 70% Synergy with Johnny, and you do the final mission alone, but as a result everyone in the story you're close to was still living. This was so underwhelming, female V ended up losing Judy anyway. And also, after the ending sequence, the game pretty much takes you back, so you can Replay that mission over and over again. I was so disappointed, I almost cleared out my entire map, just a few cyber psycho missions and very few side quest left to do. Once I beat the game, it felt surprisingly shallow and empty. I don't understand why there wasn't replayable races, a survival game mode, a PVE Deathmatch game mode a Search and Destroy mode, or something that could have been accessible through the brain dance system. And all this time later oh, they're still not much to do in the game. I spent so much time making myself op, stockpiling ammo and rare resources as well as the best guns in the game for nothing.. Hopefully the game can redeem itself, but I fkn doubt it..

    Non biased thoughts on Cyberpunk

With no bugs and performance issues Cyberpunk is a boring, lifeless, disappointing and absolute joke of a video game Project CD Red should be ashamed

    Game need activities

    Posted: 28 Jul 2021 11:27 AM PDT

I finished game at first month after release with all achivements but i can't play, beacuse there is nothing to do. Night city looks like empty. You can only walk and drive, no more. No shops, no activities, can't interract with mobs. They should do something about this. Why should i play this game?

    Beyond the Border of Empathy

    Posted: 28 Jul 2021 05:43 PM PDT

"Only twenty or thirty years ago we were asking ourselves - when will we cross the border at which empathy becomes irrelevant? Now, standing in the shelled-out ruins of a home with a rifle in our hands, it's hard to believe that border ever existed."

I found this shard today and I've never related to this game more than I have in this moment.

    Witcher Contracts vs Cyberpunk Gigs

    Posted: 28 Jul 2021 02:27 AM PDT

Massive downgrade, cyberpunk is waaay to impersonal with it's side content.

In witcher you go to a town, read a letter, find the household with the man/woman who wrote it talk to them, directly see who the problem is impacting and how it impacts them. Often it's a neatly little sad story that helps you picture the reality of that world and it's dangers. You haggle if you want to. Than you go to the spot the tragedy happented investigate, figure out what you are dealing with. Go kill it(90% of the times is a unique/rare creature that serves as a mini-boss fight) you turn back you get payed and most importantly see the vastly different outcome from the decision you made (eg: The Werewolf that kills the sister/or you lie to the guy the wife is dead, the leshen and the village that turns on it's elders etc.). This is what helps the world feel alive and dynamic and that your decisions matter.

In Cyberpunk you walk around and when you are close to a quest area you get a phone call that gives the most bare-bones dialogue that can be interchanged with other gig's dialogue. You go, very rarely get to make a decision that affects pretty much nothing. If you fight somebody it's never gonna be a unique boss or some rare type of enemy. Just dudes with guns or dudes with bats. The game severely lacks enemy diversity. Do what you are told and get payed. The problem is I am doing this job for some nobody I never met, never cared for, and I don't give a fuck about. Neither him nor how the chip that I stole is gonna be used for. Than I get see my moneybank going up a bit.

This is the equivalent of the witcher getting his medalion humming when you are near a monster that has a contract on it, killing it going to the nearest town and dropping the head in a bucket near the post, get your money instantly wired to you.

There were 26 contracts in the witcher. There are almost 90 "gigs" in cyberpunk. It's undeniably a massive downgrade in quality. They chose to go the assassins creed quantity over quality way and it shows they are about on par with the lifeless quests in games like Breakpoint Far Cry and Valhalla.
This is something I hope they stray away from. I'd much rather take 25 good gigs with the complexity of witcher contracts over this shitty filler content. They could have gone crazy with those 25 quests in a cyberpunk setting. Maybe some more diverse jobs that you can plan for a bit, and choose different methods to deal approach things, choose a companion to help you. Ah well... its never gonna be that now.

It's just downgrade after downgrade followed by missed opportunity and that is what sucks the most about it.

    My samurai V

    Posted: 28 Jul 2021 01:42 PM PDT

It’s wild how your relationship with Johnny is tied to individual quests.

    Posted: 29 Jul 2021 12:14 AM PDT

Instead of being independently chronologically triggered dialogue. The way it works now it feels like both V and Johnny are bipolar. You have a heart to heart and the next line V or Johnny says is "You're a real asshole, I wanna shoot my brains out just looking at you."

It's like what? Then the next quest they're friends again…

    I feel like it's:

    Quest A - Johnny Dialogue 1

    Quest B - Johnny Dialogue 2

    Quest C - Johnny Dialogue 3

But if you start with C and then hop to A and then B, the relationship just seems to make little sense.

It should be that even if you do the quests out of order the Johnny relationship should progress independently.

    Anyways just a thought.

Here are some elements of the game that I would like to see in future patches.

    Posted: 28 Jul 2021 08:55 AM PDT

    • NPCs use umbrellas while it is raining.
    • NPCs drive motorcycles around Night City.
    • More different vehicles used by NPCs (bike, rickshaw, or weird vehicles from the 2077's)
    • Public transportation around Night City (subway, tram, cabs) (that can be used by V)
    • So, the possibility to call a cab (Delamain) and see random Delamain cars circulating around Night City.
    • Random car chases between police and thugs.
    • Then, of course, the police can chase V by car. (I know it exists a mod for it, but c'mon...)
    • NPCs do more random illegal things (hold-up and stuff...)
    • A garage to store V's cars.
    • That bloody water physic.
