Not excusing the shitty and shady things CDPR did while marketing and talking about it because that's inexcusable and thee people who caused it should definitely be held accountable. Im very upset that its taken months for the game to run even serviceable on my base PS4 and I wish they hadn't rushed it and promised so many things that wouldn't be held up.

That being said, I love most things about this game. I think if it ran like any other games it might be a near perfect game for myself. The world is perfect, I love the story, the missions are fun, the guns are rad, the different playstyles are insanely fun, and I just have an overall wonderful time playing. I would love to see more stories told in this world, if they took the time and care for it that is lol.

I haven't finished the main story and I just recently had to start fresh again so no story spoiler please lmao. I just wanted to express my enjoyment for the game since idk if its an uncommon viewpoint on it.

For me, the mod for the dynamic minimap is a game changer. Yes, it does have its downsides, but it's still a great thing - driving around Night City has never been this fun!

I have done multiple playthroughs totaling over 500+ hours and i had never realized or clicked on this until now...

    Dum-Dum's inhaler is a disappointment

    Posted: 29 Jul 2021 08:22 PM PDT

    Dum-Dum's inhaler:

    • Isn't Iconic
    • Isn't Legendary and can't be upgraded to Legendary
    • Can only be used once and then disappears from your inventory
    • Has a crappy effect
    • Doesn't even have a cool name, just "Black Lace Mk.1" like something you could get from a vendor
    • DOES serve as a reminder of your close and eternal friendship with Dum-Dum, who appreciates your good taste in drugs
    • Still isn't worth giving up the giant dildo weapon, which serves as a reminder of your terrible taste in women

I hope CDPR considers some item/device interaction animations for the future updates, this is a mod for a 12 years old game

    Spoilers ahead...

That crucifixion mission with Joshua really messed me up and made me feel like I was in a Black Mirror episode.

    This was something next level.

Anyone else enjoyed the game but can’t go back?

    Posted: 29 Jul 2021 07:09 AM PDT

Did anyone else really enjoy their first play through but are unable to enjoy it on a second run? I'm on PC and fortunately escaped most of bugs. Sure there were some bits that were obviously a result of cut content, and I didn't like the pace of the main story or the crappy endings, but the atmosphere and combat were great IMO especially for someone into the cyberpunk genre. I remember spending entire days playing it.

But when I finished basically every mission on my first play through and decided to start again it just felt empty and not exciting, i gave up after a few hours.

In contrast, I played Fallout 4, Skyrim, and Far Cry 4 three times each and I had just as much fun on each run as the first. I knew the storyline like the back of my hand but I still enjoyed doing the same things. I wish I could unplay CP77.

TLDR Great game but zero replayability.

Today was the day that u/Ginkgotrees predicated to be the release date of CP77. I can't help but think that maybe it should have been delayed until today.

Would NVMe drive help with pop-ins?

    Posted: 29 Jul 2021 09:29 PM PDT

Is any of you playing on hi-end pc with 3080 and whatever CPU you deem worthy, with a very high speed NVMe storage? Does having fast hard drive help with loading assets in the game? I have an SSD but could easily switch to NVMe if it meant that terrible pop-ins of literally everything would disappear forever.

Its been 4 months since the last proper patch, is the game abandoned?

    Posted: 29 Jul 2021 01:14 AM PDT

Anyone remember the PC port of Horizon Zero Dawn? It was SOOOO fucking rough, but the devs kept working on it, and continuously gave us patches till it was fixed.

I thought this would be the case with Cyberpunk too. The last proper patch came out exactly a quarter of a year ago, and since then we only had a hotfix and a tonedeaf marketing team doing number posts. Total radio silence. Is the game abandoned, are they cutting their losses?

This was probably the best Cyberpsycho encounter in the entire game.
