What we'd probably hear if this is still in the game is "Rody? Iho? Ikaw ba yan?" or "Rody? Anak? Ikaw ba yan?" Anak/'Nak is more popularly and frequently used as it means "my child". Iho or Iha if referring to Son or Daughter but that is less frequently used. It is from the Spanish words hijo and hija. The Next line I audibly heard before the narration is "Sino ka?! Wag po?!~~" The dialogue bubble is a bit off (maybe), The rough translation of the dialogue bubble is "Sino ka?! Maawa ka! Wala akong pera." 'Cause if you're gonna translate what she audibly said it would be "Who are you?! Please don't!~~" as she said is "Sino ka? 'Wag po." before getting overlapped. ('Wag is also Huwag, -Hu- can be silent to shorten the two syllable word, its pronounced "Wag". The word "Po" is a word of respect it has many uses. It can be used as respect to the elderly, as please, and also as pardon actually it's really used by us filipinos A LOT am not gonna go there.) The "no money." was inaudible as it is overlapped by the narration. Also her "No money." is a "bad english" stereotype, well in hindsight education might be scarce in Night City 2077 so that's amazingly acceptable and immersive. So excited for this game 'cause I have relatives both in L.A. and San Fran. Sorry for the long-ass post. It's kind of a trivia, I guess? Character Creation & Inventory UI Comparison Posted: 30 Apr 2020 02:52 AM PDT Hi all, So i just recently re watched the E3 2018 gameplay demo & the Deep Dive 2019 video. Gosh im so hyped for this game. One thing i noticed in each video they briefly go over the character creation and a part of the inventory screen. From what i remembered i thought they only showed those off in the E3 video, but that isn't the case, and they do look rather different. So i made a comparison between them. So lets take a look at the Character Creation. First thing i noticed is the tabs along the top seem to have been reworded but they open the same menus. Birth Record seems to have become Body, the place to select your body type. Background Check seems to have become Life Path where you can pick from a couple of background stories. Biometric Scan & Appearance seem to have merged to just Appearance. Here you can change your physical appearance. The only thing i would point out, that i dont like is the change to the censorship. As you can see where you pick your body type at E3 they where naked. In an interview they said that it was censored for the demonstration and in the final game they would be naked. But now in the Deep Dive our latest look at the Character Creation they are wearing underwear and are not naked at all. I know its there choice to make it how they want but personally i liked it more when they where going to be naked, just made the game feel more mature. This looks drastically different, but i really like the changes. There is a lot more information shown and its easier to see what we have equipped and what stats are applied. Along the top the tabs have been renamed. It seems Inventory has become Gear & in the old one there was an option for Style and Backpack. It seems both of them have merged in to one. I think the clothing slots dotted around your character is what used to be the Style menu & i think what would have been your backpack is now whats shown in the center right. Whats interesting is they have added a Cyberware & Crafting tab. Crafting speaks for its self, and i assume the Cyberware tab will be to manage our implants and other augments. What do you think of the changes? do you prefer the old or the new look? and how do you feel about them going form naked to underwear ? Anyone else surprised as hell that Australia didnt straight up ban the game? Posted: 30 Apr 2020 09:27 PM PDT Like this is the biggest shock in awhile in the gaming space. They have banned games for far less and now cyberpunk in coming in with all the sex, guns and drugs like no other game before it. Not only is in coming in its coming in completely uncensored. Which was an even bigger shock. I kind of feel some palms got greased if ya know what I mean. Not saying its a bad thing but as far as the rating board in the land down under is concerned this is quite literally a COMPLETE 180 from their track record. I was getting worried as Im in the states and sony has had some bouts with censorship before but with this not anymore. Our ESRB will look the other way if its a big title so im happy. Possible censorship in German Version of Cyberpunk 2077 Posted: 30 Apr 2020 09:42 PM PDT I was watching a person play a german version of the Video Game "Modern Warfare 2 Remastered" (which was released today). There is a mission called no Russian where the character must go undercover with a group of terrorists and essentially kill civilians. But in the German version, the character is not allowed to kill the civilians, and doing so results in a game over screen. I haven't seen this type of Gameplay censorship before and I'm wondering if they released the censorship details about CP2077 in Germany.
