No game is perfect and every single one has it problems. We obviously don't have the game but from y'all have seen so far what is y'all biggest concern with the game? Mine is gunplay and driving.

Although we cannot join these gangs it will certainly be awesome to gain the trust of these particular gangs and possibly get access to exclusive items and gear. Which one are you most eager to meet?

    Types of vehicles

So, we know that there are going to be cars and bikes, but one of the devs said that there's a third type of vehicle that has yet to be revealed. What do you think it is? I think that it's like a wall-climbing, spider vehicle

What would the average person from the Cyberpunk universe think of our world?

    Posted: 12 May 2020 09:20 AM PDT

I mean, our world is objectively better. Corporations do have lots of power, but they don't control everything. The government is still mostly democractic, and the standard of living is much much higher. What would they think of our universe?

    Physical copy disc

    Posted: 12 May 2020 07:59 AM PDT

Do you think that the physical copy will come with two discs? Let me explain more clearly, I do not mean the classic "swap disc in order to continue" , I'm mainly referring to the presence of an installation disc and a play disc.. I recently bought FFVII Remake, it has a "Data Disc" (which completely installs the game by inserting the disc into the console without requiring internet connection) and a "Play Disc" which obviously let's you play the game after the data disc did its work, all it's left is game patches and that's pretty much it (keep in mind that FFVIIR requires 100GB of space, it isn't really a small game at all). I'm wondering if Cyberpunk 2077 could have something similar, what do you think?

On the leveling system of CDPR games

    Posted: 12 May 2020 02:24 AM PDT

I've been reading a ton about the game mechanics that will be featured in CP2077, and so far they sound great. However, there is one thing which I hope CDPR will do differently from the Witcher series, but I'm doubtful they will. All the gameplay we've seen point to the same type of leveling system W3 had.

What I mean by this is how quickly items become obsolete - in W3 you need to switch up your whole gear every five levels or so to keep your edge. Apart from the Witcher gear which does last longer but also takes a ton of money and time to get, you need to grind for new gear whenever you're making progress in game. In fact the whole level system in W3 was my only gripe with the game, otherwise the product was nearing perfection.

I might sound like a casual, but I would honestly enjoy a system similar to that of Skyrim, where you don't necessarily need to buy/get better gear, but your current gear gets better as you level up in that respective gear. In W3 you might buy a trashy Novigrad Longsword and then throw it away for another, who cares, but imagine getting some kind of badass smart gun in CP2077 only to throw it away for a way worse looking ratchet gun simply because of the level difference, even though realistically thinking the smart gun should outperform the whatever homemade scavenger shotgun ten times over. Given how detailed and pretty the weaponry is in this game, I think it should be necessary that you could hold on to those weapons you find early in the game, and they would keep being as powerful as they were at the start of the game, and maybe add upgrades to them later on as you progress. One of my favorite things in Skyrim was that even after progressing through the game, I still had my old armors on a mannequin and could very well use them with only a slight disadvantage compared to my newer armor. I recently played BL3, and it has this same exact issue. I get a fine rifle with all kinds of nanotechnology around it, only to replace it with an ugly gun some degenerate bandit made in his hideout, because it's higher level for no apparent reason. I would think the fans would appreciate if the gear could be permanent should the player wish it to be so.

Also one thing CDPR could do is just make the tech heavy, more advanced weapons really expensive and hard to get, but NOT limit you from using them due to low level. I like doing my own thing in open world games from time to time, and as long as the game actually gives me the ability to use the advanced gun, I will find a way to get it sooner or later. This could be an awesome way to actually create strengths and weaknesses for each weapon brand, and set them apart from eachother. I would really hate to have level 1 smart gun, level 5 homemade gun that looks like its about to fall apart and then again level 6 smart gun. It would be awesome game design if the game would make it so that in the beginning you have run of the mill conventional weapons, but would also allow you to purchase smart guns but with an extreme price tag, that you could purchase if you grinded and saved some. Then only later in the game you would start getting enough cash flow to buy them without going into financial ruin. I don't know about you guys, but that would be peak enjoyment for me.

Another thing about the leveling system is that in Witcher 3 it made no sense that the bandits and monsters a mile northward are 5x more powerful than what they are at any location. This effectively limited the open world since even if you are in the general Velen region, you could not travel for too long until you're in a place where a single Nekker will absolutely destroy you. I understand the point of it, but how about this in Cyberpunk: All regions will be accessible and will be leveled for you that any average street thug you might bump into will be beatable. HOWEVER; there are certain clearly defined and sectioned off areas in these regions that will have very difficult enemies, which will become easier as you level up. Like some corpo strongholds or something – late game stuff that you can't touch early on. So to put it shortly - the common enemies everywhere are about the same, but different regions have places in them for which you really have to level up and prepare. That way the game would allow you to explore freely without needing to worry about facing a level 50 drug addict that can barely punch, but would also limit you from the really juicy places that you would visit later. All that would make the most sense to me, since killing some kind of "boss" in the starting area with one bullet and then getting annhilated by some malnourished lowlife elsewhere would just be immersion breaking.

    Thoughts?

EDIT: Defined a couple of things better, added some more points
