In the deep dive interview, they showed some gameplay that was not included in the 15 min video. They are very small, but I know people are starved for ANY new gameplay.

The bits are at 29:41, 32:25 and 32:51

What do you think nightlife will be like in Night City?

    Posted: 21 Apr 2020 06:48 PM PDT

I'm very curious as to what the nightlife in the game will be like. They confirmed a day/night cycle, but will there be a weekday/weekend cycle? Will bars/clubs be more crowded on Friday and Saturday nights?

I really hope bars are interactive, where you can go get a drink/get drunk, play some bar games and meet people. It would be awesome if there are some NPCs in bars that you can romance, who are not necessarily tied to the story. I'm sure most romance options will be important characters, but it would be cool to meet "random" romanceable NPCs (for those who want low-key side pieces).

I also hope going out at night can serve some real purpose for your gameplay. Such as earning more street cred by showing your face at bars with the freshest clothes. They have said style is important in Night City. Or getting in a bar fight and asserting your dominance.

I've been seeing a good amount of hate for the game cover and the color schemes, but am I the only one that really likes it?

Updated CD PROJEKT's fact sheet - Cyberpunk 2077 E3 cinematic trailer was viewed over 50 million times across all platforms.

Cool detailed I just noticed in the first gameplay demo

    Posted: 21 Apr 2020 06:39 PM PDT

In the 48 minute demo, I noticed that when you step outside the car, you can still hear the radio's music until you walk away. This is more realistic, in most games the audio will turn off as soon as you get out of a car

CDP, the company encompassing CD Projekt's formerly core business, files for bankruptcy

    Posted: 21 Apr 2020 02:42 PM PDT

Before RED and GOG, CD Projekt was a game distributor. In 2012 the distribution branch was split from the original company and formed a separate entity, CDP, which went its own way. Now, eight years later, CDP is finally folding.

This has no impact on CD Projekt's operations. Just an interesting piece of history related to the company.

    translation:

It's the end of a long story. CDP - the oldest game distributor in Poland - has filed for bankruptcy

According to the "Puls Biznesu" portal, the court decided to secure CDP's assets by appointing an interim supervisor. In January, the company was mass dismissed.

CDP is a distributor of games, which distributed in Poland, apart from The Witcher, titles such as World of Warcraft and Call of Duty. Although CDP should not be merged with the CD Projekt, the coincidence in name is not accidental.

Until 2012 both companies functioned as one. However, it was decided to separate them. This is how the CD Projekt RED studio and CDP distributor were created. The distributor has also nothing to do with the cdp.pl shop, which is owned by Merlin Commerce.

Mass redundancies in CDP in January 2020.

As we informed at the beginning of the year, the problems of CDP started in January. Mass layoffs took place in the company then. As part of the reduction, half the crew lost their jobs. The decision was explained by the need to adapt to the situation on the distribution market.

It was speculated that the reason for cutting jobs was to postpone the premiere of Cyberpunk 2077 from April to September 2020. The distributor was supposed to prepare everything for the April premiere, including posters and gadgets with the premiere date, which became obsolete. CDP was supposed to know nothing about the postponement of the premiere, even though such a move could have been planned last year.

Robert Wesołowski, CEO and co-owner of CDP denied these rumours in a special statement.

    1. CDP Sp.z o.o. was informed about the postponement of the release date of Cyberpunk 2077 on 16 January 2020. This is consistent with accepted market information practice.

    2. The exemptions carried out in CDP Sp. z o.o. are not related to the information about the postponement of the date of release of Cyberpunk 2077.

    - explained Wesołowski.

What about the distribution of Cyberpunk 2077? Cenega took on the orders concerning this title, which were to be performed by CDP, and the distribution of the game in Poland.

Does this mean that CDPR will ONLY develop games revolving around these two franchises? I honestly would like them to create a new IP after Cyberpunk 2077 (even after they release the multiplayer mode) I'm curious what they can bring to the table after developing two games for nearly a decade.

    Enemy Archetypes

    Posted: 21 Apr 2020 08:14 PM PDT

Looking at the gameplay we've seen, the combat's great. But they've only really shown dudes with guns (besides the bosses). We know the Animals can fist fight but I wonder how the Tyger Claws or a Netrunner battle is gonna play out. Especially if your character is proficient in using a katana or Netrunning. You think Tyger Claws and other "cyber ninja" could slice bullets out of the air? Could Netrunners hack your cyberware like T-Bug? I just wonder how varied the gameplay can actually get.

Side Note: I also hope they do a Warframe kinda start where they let you pick your weapon of choice, cause it would be weird if they just restrict to a simple pistol at the start and then you have to go get a katana later on.
