I dont care if they keep delaying it because it's better for everyone. But i hope they optimize the hell out of the game because lots of people have already upgraded their computers last year and this year specifically for this game.

Am I the only one that sees similarity between this V and Jessie from Breaking Bad? He seems to have similar attitude as him. Makes me wonder if CDPR was inspired by this show when they were creating V.
Il not only exited for this game but the fact that this game probably will revive cyberpunk

I and many other people have upgraded their parts to be ready for this game's said launch. But it keeps getting pushed back and i worry i wont hit that desired framerate.

"Well why didnt you wait to upgrade until the game came out" you say? Well because getting parts at the right price is hard and you need to buy around sales like black friday. And you can only sit on an old computer for so many years as your current multiplayer games keep getting updates that tank fps.

So if y'all haven't herd dying light 2 has been delayed untill further notice so now we have avengers, cyberpunk, dying light, ff7 all delayed. It's seriously the year of delays now isn't it? 😑🤦

Borys Nieśpielak, polish persona and guy with many polish game dev contacts spoke in this podcast about Cyberpunk 2077 delay.

He got some juicy stuff about C2077 but remember some news are more or less confirmed so take it with grain of salt.

On E3 2019 we got info that Cyberpunk 2077 can be passed from beginning to end, Borys said "It wasn't quite like that". Some rumors and new info appreard after release date annoucement (June 9th 2019) :

- (This point is not a rumor, information from inside the studio) At GDC CDPR devs spoke to important person who said that Cyberpunk 2077 in current form has no way to properly run on current gen consoles,

- Rumor going around industry saying CDPR knew there was a high probability of not delivering the game (that rumor died down 2/3 months ago),

- There're still not yet solved issues, mainly technological,

- Strongly confirmed rumor stating biggest Cyberpunk 2077 problems are caused by first version of Xbox One from 2013. Nieśpielak got information that if these problems hasn't been solved by january the release date must be postponed,

- He confirmed from two completely independent sources that the PS would be backwards compatible to the four. CDPR developers received this information directly from Sony,

- Game content and side missions are still being made all the time,

- Main storyline is now closed, wasn't finished until 3 months ago,

- ( "I know on 100% that such a project existed in a CDProjektRed. On 100%" ) For a long time there have been a very strong rumor stating Ciri was meant to be one of the main characters and be exclusive content to PS4.

- Game for sure will be shorter than Witcher 3 but 2nd and 3rd will be very satisfying.

Two interesting quotes:

- "My source that drew my attention to this 48-minute gameplay to see what the world looks like, that what is shown there are locations, not an open world. And that we have something like that, that we have a car ride with Jackie, well, he... Well, we practically do not see this world there, because it is outside the windows, and in the next part we have a car ride, but in virtually such tunnel locations, and the whole act, all the gameplay that happens in this recording is happening indoors... "

- " [...] Yes. Oh! One more thing. In general, I also learned (I didn't know it before) that one of the most important people in the studio had such a special list of what was to be in this game: what mechanics, what aspects; and there was everything there. Everything in games. All the interesting mechanics in games, that it was everything and the size of this game is not only area-related, but also the mechanic is huge."

That part about Ciri Was not about Ciri appearance in CP2077 but about gossips that She will be protagonist in second AAA game that CDPR is working on. As we know second AAA game in development is CP2077 multiplayer. So Ciri part was not connected to CP2077.

Idea for character customization - to the players.

Maybe not on your first playthrough, but I think things could get a little interesting if you roll a die and customized your character accordingly, especially for the attributes. You'd have to adapt to whatever character you 'roll'. If you don't want to be bothered with finding a real die, you can just Google "roll a die". Tho you'd have to figure out a system to avoid 'over-rolling' or 'under-rolling', like what if you rolled 6 on each attribute, that'd be 30 but you only start with 22 points, or what if you rolled 1 on each attribute, I'm not sure if you'll have to use all your initial points. Maybe to avoid over rolling, if you roll 3 6's, that'd be 18, so you switch to a 4-side die and if you roll a 4, just call it a 3 and the last attribute gets the remaining point.
