Posted: 04 Sep 2019 09:19 AM PDT In the cinematic trailer Dexter DeShawn refers to Jackie as V's "psycho friend." Now some may just see this as Dex talking about V and Jackie killing people in that mission but if you remember the 2013 teaser trailer, the description talks about people who overuse implants and substances, they overdose and "their bodies start to rebel against their biological body parts as well as all things organic around them. Simply put, they start killing people" These people are referred to as "psychos" by the description, which is apparently their in universe name. I think the gunfight that gets Jackie killed may be against MAX-TAC, AKA the Psycho Squad, a division of Night City police who combat psychos. Could this be what happened to Jackie? Did he go psycho and end up being killed in a fight against the Psycho Squad? Let me know what you think. [link] [comments]

What is Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer? (Wrong Answers Only Edition) Posted: 04 Sep 2019 09:20 PM PDT I picture myself strolling along through the grimey back alleys of Night City. Suddenly, a hint of metallic glisten shines through the hot pink neon holographic palm fronds decorating an entrance to the most overpriced, undersanitized pizza shop on the block. Then, just as suddenly, it knows it's been spotted. Leaping out from behind the tacky adornment comes a hunched mass entanglement of chrome and chem addiction. Its digital screams drown out any semblance of its former humanity left within. There's not enough time. The beeline its making towards the nearest manhole cover will be completed in seconds. A compartment extends from my thigh, launching an equally shiny sphere into the air. It does not evade my grasp. Ensuring I hold down the single glowing island in this infinite sea of silver, I cock back and let loose. Arching through steam clouds emanating from a sidewalk noodle vendor's kiosk, that also happens to be just across the street from 2 other noodle vendor kiosks, time slows to a crawl. The anticipation has supercharged my senses. Also, probably, future meth. Until... DIRECT HIT! The magnetic field upgrade was a sound investment. Now that the fleeing, glorified refrigerator door has a shiny new pimple popping dead center from the things forehead, the hack begins. A holoscreen materializes from my arm. Side by side, familiar console and a speeding countdown set to mock me should I take a nanosecond longer than it takes for it to muster its defenses. A countdown aided by redundancies and paradox nullifiers. But this ain't my first mechanical bull ride. With entire seconds to spare, the thing is formally introduced to its new pwn'r. The sphere splits, drawing it inside before resealing and rolling back to the tip of my boot. I refrain from from any self-congratulatory gestures. No, no. This was the easy part. The perquisite. The. Bare. Minimum. The next step is what separates CEOs from gutter trash. I've known that path for my entire life. So, I'll have to find a another pwn'r. And another, and another. In fact, I'll have to find them all. That is, of course, if I ever want to be... the very best. spinning cap around intensifies [link] [comments]

Excited for Cyberpunk Japanese Cars! Posted: 04 Sep 2019 03:54 AM PDT I'm painfully excited to get to own a cool VHS-Era Cyberpunk super machine. I've only seen American and Italian styled looking cars so far but considering one of the big Megacorps is Japanese, it's not farfetched to think there'd be some really badass Honda/Toyota/Nissan lookalikes. Elderscrolls Style Experience Points? Posted: 04 Sep 2019 10:32 AM PDT It seems from the deep dive video that the character gains xp for certain skills from using actions associated with those skills , eg: athleticism for ripping open doors, rifle for pew pewing, etc. This is reminiscent of the elderscrolls and where you had to use the skills to level your skills. I like this approach, though I wonder if I will need to get another small weight to hold down my "e" key to level my destruction and alteration skills :). I am curious to see how it will work in the final game. Does anyone have anymore insight into this mechanic? Thanks [link] [comments]
Consumables or skill level to open elevator doors Posted: 04 Sep 2019 02:26 PM PDT Hey just watched the deep dive again and something I noticed when v ripped open the door it said 8/4. Do you think that is based on skill level or based on a certain amount of consumables? [link] [comments]

Can't find anything about body types/sizes??? Posted: 04 Sep 2019 09:39 PM PDT Have any of you seen or heard anything about body types and sizes? Like are we forced to be slim/skinny people, or can we chose to be huge and muscular or something in between? Personally i really hope we can get different body looks, as there seem to be body types on all the npc's.. [link] [comments]
Are there still plans for an in-game photo mode? Posted: 04 Sep 2019 11:01 AM PDT I know it was mentioned around E3 2018 that it was a feature in the works, or at the very least on the table. Has anything changed since then regarding photo mode? I know it'd probably help with peoples issues with the scarcity of TPP. [link] [comments]
