What kind of character are you planning on building? Share your own personal V. Posted: 06 Sep 2019 05:42 PM PDT My V is going to be a Corpo Techie. This V spent her early years building and selling meager (but respectable) tech corporations to massive conglomerates. Now, she's doing her best to escape the grisly world of corporate oppression, and spends her time working to restore order and safety to the world. Killing is a last resort for her, especially because she has the structural integrity of a toothpick. Strength is not her game, and neither is hacking; though she's passable at it when she needs to be. Where my V really shines is in her technical knowledge, calm composure, and silver tongue. My V is open to body augmentations, but, as a techie, she knows when to call it quits. Most of her dirty work is done through her Spider Bot or her gadgets. Sure, she can hold her hands steady enough to point a pistol, but she could certainly use another afternoon or six of practice down at the range. I'm curious to see how far I'll be able to push the boundaries of being a do-gooder in the world of Cyberpunk. I'll need to make some compromises, I'm sure. On my second playthrough, though, I'll be going full torque: A straight up evil Heavy Solo Street Kid with a freakish amount of body mods. No compromises needed. If I end up doing a third playthrough (let's be honest, I probably will,) I'll likely be playing as a free-spirited Nomad Netrunner with a loose moral code. What's your V going to look like? Theory: There are dedicated arm augmentations for every stat to specialize in. Posted: 06 Sep 2019 04:58 PM PDT From the recent deep dive video, we now know of a total of 3 (three) total hand/arm augmentations:
These augmentations all seem to be cyber-ware for V to use specifically with high points in a specific stat. The Gorilla Arms for Strength, The Mantis Blades for Reflexes, and the Nanowire for Intelligence. Most of you probably assumed this, however I think this trend will continue with the Technical stat. Potentially the 2020 cyber-ware that turns your fingers into multiple different types of tools. But as for the Cool stat... I'm not quite sure. [link] [comments] | ||

Has there been any response from CDPR on the removable of TPP cutscenes? Posted: 06 Sep 2019 11:19 PM PDT I would like to know to what extent we will no longer see our character. I will be somewhat ok with their decision if we still have the apartment, and other non-dialogue choice cutscenes as TPP. But based on the fact that they've confirmed that sex scenes are in FP, i doubt that, and that is truly terrible... Also not sure why they are looking for animators with an advertisement of the awesome third person cutscene from E3... man none of this makes any sense lol [link] [comments] |
