Want to read everything about Cyberpunk

    Posted: 23 Aug 2019 02:06 PM PDT

Hi. I though I'd like to learn more about the lore, so I decided to read the original works. I see that there are several rulebooks and other books which purpose I don't really understand.

As far as I understand there's no need to read every rulebook only the latest one. Is this right? Should I just read the 3.0 or just wait for Red? Are there any stories in the rulebooks? Are there any novels? Is there a list with what should one read and what is not relevant/non-canon?

Your help would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Question about dismemberment from those who saw the closed doors Demo

    Posted: 23 Aug 2019 05:35 PM PDT

A little over a year ago this was posted here on reddit.

I'm curious if anyone has seen anything resembling this since. It's not a dealbreaker, but this is something I've never really seen properly attempted in a game and it seemed so fitting since the PnP RPG it's based on had a lot of depth with dismemberment and limb replacement.

In the behind closed doors demo, did anyone see anything showcasing living dismembered enemies in a "wounded state" continuing to fight, flee, or reacting in anyway? Or did dismemberment of limbs only seem to happen like in Fallout 3/4 when certain criteria were meant on the killing blow only?

    Bioware and Nanoware

    Posted: 23 Aug 2019 02:21 PM PDT

We all know cyberware is a thing in cyberpunk (Duh!) but what about bioware and nanoware? Any news confirming those two? Also would it be heresy to wish the setting had psionics init? :p

    Anyone planning on going non-lethal?

    Posted: 23 Aug 2019 01:14 AM PDT

For my first playthrough I am going to try to deal with the game in pacifist sort of way were I don't kill anyone and see if my actions can make a positive imprint on night city. Anyone put any thought on how you will approach your first playthrough yet? Super excited, I almost forgot about this game and just realized I will get to enjoy this masterpiece again.
