    At the end of the game V enters Mikoshi. And while doing that, Alt uses Soulkiller and turns them into an engram. I understood it that way that Soulkiller „kills your soul" and an engram is just a copy of yourself. So if I did understand everything right, the original V is dead and the V from the epilogue is just a copy. What do you think about it ? Sorry for my English, I am not a native speaker.

    We need NG+

    I am absolutely loving my playthrough so far but am worried that I'll finish the content and have my character at their strongest, with no content then left to play with. Every single player RPG needs NG+ for this reason and I hope its at the top of their list now.

    After seeing they limited the gigs and side jobs I was kinda baffled, I thought it would've meant less fun. I however, was blindsided by how much better it felt! The more powerful V got, the more cool little voice lines from Fixers she got, as well as tougher jobs. It felt as though they were acknowledging V's progress as a Merc, and her rise to the Major Leagues. As someone who's been pretty critical- Thank you CDPR!

    This is going to be a long read because there are so many threads woven together.

    It all starts around 2023 when Johnny and the gang attack Arasaka. Bartmoss vanished into a Net-enabled freezer with a 50 year contract not long after Alt Cunningham was murdered by Arasaka in their attempt to weaponize her Soulkiller program.

    Fast-forward to when our story opens and we find Sandra Dorsett got too deep in her investigations. Someone fed her to Maelstrom scavs who conveniently had a way to neutralize her Trauma Team Platinum membership. Upon departing the job site V and Jackie are attacked by a vanload of scavs.

    This is unusual behavior, they should have just melted into the city...Jackie even mentions that they are disappearing when the TT boys show up. And yet, it appears they lurked, waiting for an opportunity for payback.

    V then starts hallucinating tarot cards, even in places he should know quite well. Right outside their apartment, for instance. Or next to Vik Vektor's shop.

    Let's talk about Delamain now. He only met V one time but when V called for help, Del came through. Why? Espcially after Del says "You are outside the service area."

    Why fuck with potential regulatory issues? When Del needs Vs help with the rogue taxis we hear Delamain tell V that he is doing his best to avoid unnecessary attention.

    And who wrecked Vs car? A Delamain cab that was lurking in ambush so V would know who did it. The courtesy text was just a lure to get V to come by the shop.

    The fracturing of Delamains AI core was designed not just to test the new AIs, it was also a test of V. One personality, the one from Pacifica even says she is testing V. At the time it just seems like a joke, but what if it wasn't?

    Then we meet with the Peralez' and discover they are being reprogrammed by an unknown 3rd party who's using a dummy security firm to get inside their penthouse. And Mr. Blue Eyes is behind it, we see him and he texts V to warn them off the case.

    Not long after we hear from Sandra Dorsett again, and it turns out that she has been studying exactly what is happening to the Peralez'. This is why she got snatched by the scavs, to stop her investigation. Involving V, however, changed everything.

    When V got the Relic everything shifted, and Mr. B had to adjust his plans accordingly. Someone summoned V to the junkyard to find that freezer. Someone who needed V to find the Bartmoss deck and tape it to a wizard like Nyx.

    When Nyx jacked in he was nearly executed for his troubles, and later, for some unknown reason, he sends V a second "thank you" for the deck. No explanation, no invitation...just a "Thanks again". Nyx plays his cards to his chest, evidenced when he send V out for the Spellbook, so there's nothing but speculation about Nyx. There will be more about him in DLC, I suspect.

    Gary the Prophet is surprisingly knowledgeable about what Arasaka is up to. The exact details are wrong, but he's definitely on the right track. So much so that when V starts spending time listening to him, they decide that Gary has to go.

    Then there's the issue of the Zen Master who only appears after V goes to Clouds and spends time with the doll. (In my experience, please correct if I'm wrong).

    They show up and try and help V grow comfortable with the idea of unity, becoming one with nature...and letting go of the Self. When V, Johnny, and Alt finally meet at the end we find Alt telling V that survival is no longer an option. The body will belong to Johnny, or to no one.

    Reche Bartmoss and Alt Cunnigham have been working together on the Net for 50 years and V almost upset decades of work just by being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    I'm leaving out a whole lot about the Voodoo Boys, but this is the gist of what I've come up with.
