- It really did not
- Takemura's disdain for NC food continues to amuse me.
- Porsche in Cyberpunk | 3840 x 2160
- Oh no… thats not creepy at all… give her a moment and her head will start spinning around
- Finally got all the cache items
- So this has been a thing lately on the xbox…
- Serious question - where is the 'spice' place that serves pizzas that Paweł Sasko is talking about? Did I miss something? The only pizza boxes I've seen are Tom's Dinner and AllFoods and they didn't have any clock / display to show the status of the pizza ...
- [SPOILER] Just finished the game. Discovered the photo mode too late in the game.
- It turns out CDPR tactic of overpromises didn't start with Cyberpunk 2077. I gathered all of the interesting features annouced to be in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt which never made it. Please compare them with Cyberpunk and share your opinion.
- Yes.
- Made a Low-Poly poster thing for my art class
- My 2nd playthrough thoughts on the state of the game
- It be like that
- Recently got a chance to play and had a TON of fun with it. This game is absolutely gorgeous! Decided to mess around with camera mode
- Dunno thought someone might appreciate this screenshot like i do
- Cyberpunk 2077 version 1.23 analysis XSX still has performance issues
- I guess she likes her warm spot (has to repost, video failed)
- Even the NPC’s can’t wait for the DLC
- At this point I don't even know what to say ... *sigh*

Posted: 08 Aug 2021 06:30 PM PDT A lot of people on the internet like to do it in a way where game recieved well get's just praise but also unjust praise. It is often met with giving benefit of the doubt, praising mediocre features or just plainly forget about things. At the other end we have complete opposite. Game recieved badly. This game gets lots of just criticism while also getting unjust criticism It never gets any benefit of the doubt, mediocre or even good features are criticized or people will try extra hard to find more evidence of this game's failure. And here comes the sweet part. It's alright. I understand this behaviour and as long as nobody gets hurt I support it. So why the hell make this whole post? It makes no goddamn sense why my thoughts would add anything to the conversation about Cyberpunk 2077 & of course highly praised Witcher 3. But I've got a little trivia for you. I read lots of news regarding Wild Hunt's marketing that started 2 years before game got released (seems familar in a way, hmm...) and I saw lots of same patterns emerging. Lots of vague & ambitious promises in 20131. Canceling some options officialy & some not hoping players will forget. Also 1st delays. All that in 2014 2nd delay and premiere. People criticize gameplay, the disappointing ending (not everyone of course) and poor optimization. All my sources come from Gry-online.pl, the biggest polish gaming news site. Unfortunately I won't be able to provide you with direct sources but if you're stubborn enough you can translate the site & search all news by going to Witcher 3 section -> News Also I want to point out that Cyberpunk 2077 was a lot larger product. Also lots of features had to ready in place in at least mediocre quality to pull it off. While Witcher 3 benefited from years of iteracion through sequels. So maybe Cyberpunk 2077 trilogy will benefit as all (but remember to never preorder) The other reason why Wild Hunt never got such a heat (apart from not scamming console users) was that it got the big attention after the release. Nobody cared what CDPR said in 2013... the game is awesome! So my theory is that CDPR higher ups were shocked when people started researching and analyzing every word they previously said. So that list is to show you that the bad habits or behaviours never imerge out of nowhere. In case of CDPR those habits & behaviours grew like a tumor since Witcher 1 or 2 & never stopped until it was too late to fix anything. After that was desperation & making decisions that would never benefited in the long run. I'm just shocked they got away with it for so long. This is the list of all the promised things that never appeared in full form in Witcher 3 Wild Hunt: - Dynamic weather system at sea, - storms, - NPC inteligent enough to go fishing only when there's good weather - Geralt during storms would have hard time surviving. - different mini game for every region, throwing axes & knives were annouced to be in a game - no loads between words, - riding from one side of the map to another would take around 40 minutes. - killing certain enemies would allow Geralt to develop his mutation skills - dynamic usage of environment in combat. For example using Aard on bees nest would make it fall on enemy's head - Weather affecting exploration - Certain Enemies would appear only in a certain part of the day - Every epilogue will last at least 1 hour - VATS like system to attack enemy weak points similar to Fallout games. - If we steal from Villagers they would run and call guards for help - too much toxicity will kill Geralt - We were supposed to know the challanging fight by geralt's body language. He would have different behaviour while facing strong enemies or multiple enemies. - Support for Xbox Kinect & SmartGlass So that's that. Feel free to compare it to Cyberpunk 2077 but remember I'm talking about promises that never made it to the actualgame. Not the things that should've been in the game. My 2nd playthrough thoughts on the state of the game Posted: 08 Aug 2021 04:12 AM PDT I played at launch and i was really pissed off, it lasted for as long as i did almost 100%. I liked the story, i played through all the broken buggy mess but it still was fun and i was still pissed off for all that it could be and it wasn't. Now 2nd playthrough, this time only story and with a new RTX card, holly shit the game looks insanely gorgeous with RTX, it's still buggy even in the main story after all this time, what are CDPR doing? And i see no major differences in core mechanics, the police is better but it's still a joke, AI is not that smart, enemies are really dumb and predictable, driving is not that great, sure good enough for a game like this but still could be a lot better and in most cars driving from inside is impossible. Things still blow up when i pick stuff up, cars still go nuts sometimes, etc... But whatever what pisses me more is all that it could be and it isn't. For one moment i thought this could be a No Man's Sky thing but it's more a "we got your money now go f yourselves suckers", and it was a lot of money. CDPR is broken. [link] [comments] | ||
