He even posted a link with a disclaimer that if you login to this link with your regular Epic Games Account, you won't be able to see anything because this is only meant to be seen by the developer accounts! Please, do keep this in mind as it'll come in handy with our discussion later on. When people asked him about this thread I made about him, he went on to say that I might be looking to have a beef with him, but he doesn't want to respond to me. That's when I was pinged to that thread and I decided to post the following: Hey guy. Not lookin' for no beef. https://status.epicgames.com/ If the Epic servers had to be shut down in order to accommodate for a game update, you'd see that get listed there. It only works with a developer account, so keep that in mind. Imagine this: You have an Epic Developer account. Regardless of which Development studio you work for, with the dev account you have, you can take a peek into the backend of any game that's on that platform, and take a look at what's going on with that game, how many DLCs or future content they have planned, etc. Does that even sound plausible? Nope. If you have a developer account, you're granted access to API (SDK to plug Epic into your game) and Dev Portal, and the Unreal Engine Source Code. That's it. How to fake an Epic Games Server Downtime Screenshot: Open up an Incidents report on Epic's Public Status page, like this one. Use your browser's Inspect Function Go Under the "Elements" Tab and look for <div class="page-title"> and expand that, then change the text to whatever you want. This information has not been pirated, I paid full price ($60) for the game on Epic Game Store and I am using my own Epic Games account to find this information. Assuming he has an "Epic" Epic Dev account (something that isn't true to begin with but we'll roll with it anyway) and not the standard Developer account as he is implying, what he is doing is in clear violation of Terms of Service! Just goes to show that he isn't very bright when it comes to fabricating lies just for the sake of seeking attention. I believe that in the best interest of the Cyberpunk Subreddits, this man shouldn't be allowed to post such fabrication to mislead people. IMO devs of The Ascent (Neon Giant) handled the atmosphere and vibe of a cyberpunk world a lot better than CDPR did. The rain, the music, the neon - everything I wanted from CP2077 when it was announced!
