Anyone else want a character appearance customization option from ripper docs?

I hope they make it so you can pay ripper docs to change your characters appearance, hair, skin, eyes etc

I find Cyberpunk 2077 really hard to replay

    Posted: 13 Jul 2021 07:20 AM PDT

So I don't really know if this is an unpopular opinion or not but I find cyberpunk 2077 almost unbearable on a second playthrough. I played the game when it launched and while it was really buggy I still enjoyed it quite a bit. So after all of these patches I decided to go back in 8 months later. I really find it hard to replay because I now really realize how much sitting and talking there is in this game. That combined with the always first person perspective makes the game feel so poorly paced. I feel like 80% of the game isn't even gameplay it's listening to characters talking to you. The gunplay is pretty good and I feel like the main quest and the major side quests don't allow you to use them very often. The game is paced like a narrative rpg but all the character progression is structured like an action rpg. I have to seek out those go here and kill everything missions because at least you get to play the game, and I prefer that to the main story of sit here and listen to a character drone on for 20 minutes. Plus it's not like the dialogue changes that much every time you do it. (Please understand this is just my opinion)

Thanks for reading my rant and I'd like to know what you all think

Whole game feels like Keanu Reeves DLC.

    Posted: 13 Jul 2021 01:25 AM PDT

Throughout the game, I simply couldn't see V as anything more than a vessel for Johnny Silverhand. V is so out of focus that we can't even get to know him/her better the whole game. While i enjoyed the story, can't deny that it's way too short . Remember the montage in prologue with Jackie? It's so obvious that they didn't have time to wrap those part of this game up. Even though with all the time they had with those delays. So as a last resort, they decided to hype this game with all the false advertisements, Keanu Reeves, fake gameplay reveal, undelivered promises and list goes so on... I can tell that something went horribly wrong in the development team.

Please read : I know you probably heard these things over and over again since it's been 7 months after the release. But i just had the chance to play it and wanted to share my opinions about the game.

How do people feel about Cyberpunk as Witcher 3 fans?

    Posted: 13 Jul 2021 08:33 PM PDT

Playing through Witcher 3 for the first time, I'm left to wonder where they went so drastically wrong. CP really feels like discount future witcher with slightly better graphics. I don't get where the writing, side quests, and characters fell through when the same kind of game was being made by the same studio. Anyone have any insight? I'm completely lost here, as I feel like Witcher would have made the perfect roadmap to make this game great but everything just falls flat. Did they lose writers in between? What could have caused such a disparity between the two games' content?

My two main problems with the game (PS5 on the PS4 version)

    Posted: 13 Jul 2021 05:55 PM PDT

So I recently bought Cyberpunk now that it's back on the PlayStation store, and I've been playing the game on my ps5 quite a lot for the past few days, I'm around halfway through the main story right now, and really enjoying it! But there have been some issues that I wanted to share (not sure if anyone cares really, but I wanted to post my thoughts here to see what others thought)

So by far my biggest problem with the game has been NPC density/population. Throughout the game all you hear is that Night City is the place to be, but nobody's here. The roads are empty, the sidewalks do have people walking on them however not many. There are clusters of NPCs in specific spots, like market areas, outside nightclubs, interiors etc. But apart from that Night City just seems so lacking in personality. At times it feels like a Cyberpunk/Zombie Apocalypse game. I really hope that they add in more NPCs and Cars on the road in future updates; I know the game is very populated on PC, so I'd love that for console. I understand that there are clear technical limitations though, especially when comparing PC to console. so just having a higher density in the next gen release of the game would be cool. That being said if GTA can have a higher population density in 2013 then so can this game lol

My second issue (and this is so easy to fix) is PLEASE let us customize V during the game!!!! All I need is the option to change the hair and/or piercings and/or cyber wear. It's so simple and it doesn't make sense as to why there are no barbers or anything. This is just such an easy addition which would add so much. On a similar note, when I played Fallout 4, I occasionally edited my character to give them some life. While I played, I slowly added wrinkles, and made their hair go grey. Adding scars after battles. It's not much but it's something that I love doing and I feel as if it keeps the character fresh.

Also, let us see how the clothes look on V before we buy them. Cmon CDPR that's an obvious change to make.

Anyway those are my thoughts halfway through my play through. Thanks for reading if you made it this far :)

    Loving the game but..

    Posted: 13 Jul 2021 05:49 PM PDT

It's almost kind of sad how unfinished the game is considering it's really fun. I hear the main story isn't that long so I usually try to do a lot of the side gigs and stuff. I can honestly see the ambitions CDPJR had in this one and it sucks that the game had a crappy launch with a bunch of content removed. You guys think the game will ever be brought back to it's original concept down the game's lifeline?

    Regarding the final boss

    Posted: 13 Jul 2021 01:40 PM PDT

I got the game pretty late and I finished it yesterday. In my opinion, Adam smasher was really underwhelming as a boss. He went down like a bitch. Razor Hughes was atleast 4 times harder. For how much they hyped up Adam smasher throughout the story, he didn't live up to the hype
