Posted: 21 Jun 2021 08:53 PM PDT I really enjoyed Cyberpunk 2077 for what it was, the game perfectly captures sad and depressing dark dystopian, makes me nostalgic about some future that i haven't experienced, the game is really beautiful and shines during the night time. During its heyday, i made so many synth music edit with the game. Just driving slow around the city during night with all the neon signs and holograms reflecting of the surface and road is the best feeling, it was a just too comfortable, cozy and immersively breathtaking. -Some memorable storylines, sidequest and world was what kept me hooked to the end. The gameplay was alright but yeah even patches can't fix the fundamental, gameplay issues it has. My only major complaint and disappointment would be the three branching and diverse story paths which turned out to be almost exactly same except for the first 10 minutes, i was honestly expecting carpo path the most fleshed out with me by the end looking at my giant empire, huge tower that has all my flying cars or even a dedicated cop path where V is ruthless as Dredd on the path of providing ultimate justice. -Anyway, it has not been even a year yet since the game came out but looking back it already feels like a time capsule, all the hilarious memes which i still sometimes go back and sort posts by most popular and just have blast of nostalgia. Maybe in 5 or 10 years, we all look back and remember what Cyberpunk 2077 was! [link] [comments]

My opinion of Cyberpunk for those wondering if it's worth it Posted: 22 Jun 2021 01:30 AM PDT Despite its issues, launch, and cut content, it's still a really good game. Sure theres alot left to be desired, but theres still alot to enjoy. Gameplay is really cool, I'm playing my V as a netrunner, it's super fun and overpowered. It's satisfying to just press a button and everyone starts killing themselves and eachother. I haven't gotten too far into the story just yet, but it's been really good. The automatic love quest with the doll scene, is my favorite so far. Theres alot of lore and diversity which is always nice. I do hate the driving. Trying to turn can be a nightmare in some cars. I find that fast ones and bikes are easier to control. Graphics are pretty nice too. I'm playing on a ps4 pro. Iv had the game since launch and I have only had exactly 4 crashes. Iv seen few bugs, the only gripe I have, is that the shadows are a little wonky. Makes you look like a pixar toy. Also sometimes when your exploring the city, it might take a few seconds for things to render. I do wish there was better ragdoll physics, kinda makes me go meh everytime I kill someone and they fall to the ground like an 80 year old woman who just snapped her knees. Theres a shit ton of different types of consumables. Really wish there was as many weapons/hacks as there was different flavors of pop in the game. (Or Soda for those not born in Indiana) It does immerse you into the game tho I also wish the npcs had a schedule, and that they had better a better AI. Im sure that'll get tinkered with eventually. I'm one of the few people who are optimistic for this game's future. Fingers crossed we get more customization and cyberwear. I really wanna make my V look completely decked out in tech. But yeah, despite what others opinions are, I think this game is worth it. [link] [comments]

Performance seemingly worse with current patches? Posted: 22 Jun 2021 12:05 AM PDT Hey everyone, need some advice. Maybe I'm starting to lose my mind but for me the performance actually seems worse on the later patches. I'm remembering that I used to easily hit 60+ FPS (I think the maximum I got was around 75 FPS) on the same medium-low settings I'm using now but since some patch, I can't even get to 60 FPS. It's usually hovering around 45 FPS with my GPU utilization being at 15% or so. Maybe it's an issue specific to my computer as I did upgrade from a Ryzen 1700X to a 3700X and from 16GB to 32GB of RAM and maybe the game can't deal with that, I do not know. Ryzen 7 3700X GTX 1070 Ti 32GB DDR4-3200 Is anyone familiar with an issue like this and knows of a fix? Or is it a lost cause? Thanks. [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Jun 2021 12:31 AM PDT I transferred my save files from my old laptop to the new one (Legion 5 Pro RTX3070) and I've been dying to see some rain RTX effects but it hasn't rained once in 6 hours. What's the deal with it? Am I just really unlucky? [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 Jun 2021 10:35 PM PDT Currently playing on very hard with mods that remove level scaling from the game (every enemy is always your level - there's an option that only increases levels if you prefer) and it totally revitalized 2077 for me, in combination with turning off the HUD, the mod that givesenemy Netrunners more abilities, and binding dodge to a single key. Suddenly you have to actually be careful again; combat is just extremely lethal, so while you can still kill enemies very quickly, they can kill you in one or two hits as well. You don't have directional indicators for incoming shots or enemies, so suddenly cover, positional awareness, and taking advantage of hacks like weapon glitch become extremely important. Shooting grenades out of the air matters because it'll kill you if it lands; quickhacks suddenly cost a meaningful amount again, so you can't just spam Suicide (Contagion is still OP as all hell, but at least it doesn't 1-hit things any more). More importantly, the AI actually has some room to breathe and do cool things now, because you aren't just ripping through combat before they even draw their guns. Oh, and not having cheesy health bars and hit indicators is way more immersive, IMO. Lastly, having no minimap actually makes driving way more fun. You still have the quest indicator, so you know roughly where you want to end up, but you have to actually navigate there instead of trying to make hairpin turns. I wound up seeing way more of the city (and parts I didn't even know existed!) this way. Anyway, just wanted to share since I know I was really starting to burn out on on the game when it felt like every combat was just a chore because of how easy it was. [link] [comments]
