Went back to one of the first missions in the game. The one where you have to save the girl in the tub of water. And this dude is just standing there

To be honest I would’ve loved to see silver hand as one of the antagonist of the game

    Posted: 05 Jun 2021 11:05 PM PDT

Think about it, a villain that only exists in your mind. He would have a very good motive too. He wants to destroy arasaka. And to do that he needs your body but by destroying arasaka a lot of innocent people could get killed. He wouldn't be pure evil. He'll still save v sometimes. And at the end based on your choices he either leaves v's mind, or you have to fight him. He's still an interesting character, but if he was an antagonist he could've been 1000% more interesting. What do you guys think of this idea?

What are some fun quickhacks you can come up with that aren't in the game?

    Posted: 05 Jun 2021 11:18 PM PDT

So I'm doing some street racing in a mission and I noticed a few cars have their windshields replaced with large, electronic screen, likely projecting the view of the road onto it, maybe with statistics and such as well. It got me thinking, damn, it'd be cool if I could use a quickhack mid race to turn off their screen and make them crash.

What are some fun/inventive quickhacks you've thought of while playing?

Just finished the game on PS5. Only 2/10 PS5 owners who started the game made it to the end credits so far

    Posted: 05 Jun 2021 08:34 PM PDT

Was surprised to see that % completion on the final main story trophy. I guess the game really is that buggy and disappointing compared to what CDPR promised the public. Overall I give the game a 7/10 and that feels generous. The game even crashed during my end credits. The story was decent but the pacing was poor, especially with V's impending doom when you spend many hours doing other side activities. The world was impressive only if you looked at it from a static point of view, but actually playing through it showed how non-immersive it was. Game play was pretty below average even as an open world RPG. The fighting mechanics needed way more time to flesh out, especially the hand-to-hand combat. Those hit boxes were poor.

All in all, CDPR took way more than they could chew with this game. They were too ambitious with the time they had. Would have been a better game if the world was 40% of the size but more immersive. It's sad because Witcher 3 was such a generational game for the last gen consoles. Cyberpunk needed liked 3 more years of development to be the game they envisioned.

It’s time we have the talk about Cyberpunk..

    Posted: 05 Jun 2021 02:01 PM PDT

    It..

    has..

THE BEST FUCKING OST I EVER HAD EAR ERECTED PLEASURE TO HEAR

Not just Combat themes like Scavenger hunt, Wushu dolls, Valentino fight, or even Chrome Shamens. (All fantastically choreographed battle songs) But the amount of tone it sets for a world so enriched in Depressing yet endorsing soundtrack that makes living in a world like cyberpunk not so bad to live in. It has a music Techno and old fashioned that balances out Cyberpunk's environment so well makes me question why cyberpunk hasn't won a Soundtrack award. But I think what is by far the best part of the soundtrack is SAMURAI (Johnny's Band in-game) has this 80s-90s rock that sounds so modern it's stunning to hear. refused was an amazing choice to resemble SAMURAI's punk rock genre and nobody else could have competed, and the fact that their lyrics are so suddenly referenced to the story is why SAMURAI is such a great cover band. AND THEY ONLY HAVE 5 SONGS.

(Note:I really hope more Cyberpunk music is added onto Apple Music or Spotify, there's so much potential for it to become a Rave-choice song)

I Fought The Law Braindance Bug (v1.22) - Clues are not being scanned

    Posted: 05 Jun 2021 08:02 PM PDT

    Hello

I am trying to finish this quest but I cannot even scan any clues (Visual, Audio), etc.
The clues visually appear and scan but after scanning, the clue does not disappear and there is no conversation that follows. Its just keeps being rescanned.

I tried holding X as others suggested but it does not work

    Any workaround to this?

    Ideas for utility cyberware?

    Posted: 05 Jun 2021 05:15 PM PDT

Something that I feel would seamlessly fit into Cyberpunk is more utility-based cyberware or cyberware mods. Sure, we have double jump, but there could be so much more. I'm thinking:

An optics mod to enable Forza-style navigation, with waypoint paths overlaid on the road, rather than the hopeless minimap that all but ensures you'll go speeding past your turn. When out of the car or off-road, it could just show a waypoint marker on the HUD. Or CDPR could just fix it completely but hey, this would be more immersive...

Hands cyberware that uses magnets/microsuction/randomscifitech to let us climb buildings - the game has so much vertical space, let us make the most of it.

Rubber legs. Forget about fall damage!

I'd be interested to hear what other suggestions people have, serious or stupid.
