- 200 Hours in and two playthroughs and my only disappointment is...
- I mean...at this point right?
- Night City
- PlayStation’s Jim Ryan says removing Cyberpunk ‘was a tough decision, but we had to act’
- Just some of the pictures I took that made me fall in love with Cyberpunk 2077
- Another example of diverse visual styles - Data Term in Neo-Militarism style. Beautifully crafted details attract attention.
- I have this stuck on my screen for 3 hours now, even loading a save did not fix it.
- Tesla flexes its overkill infotainment system by running "Cyberpunk 2077" at 60 fps in the Model S Plaid
- I got out to out of bounds in Paccifica
- CyberMod on Base PS4
- Delamain is stuck on my screen.
- Voice Acting - An easy improvement
- Hahaha- oh..
- This gun is MAD. It is so overpowered... Maybe not on hardest difficulty, but on normal this is just disgusting. I love it.
- Anyone else turn off the map while doing their first or second play through?
- NCBP
200 Hours in and two playthroughs and my only disappointment is... Posted: 11 Jun 2021 05:43 PM PDT That there probably won't be a sequel. I really enjoyed the game from begining to end and fell in love with all of the characters. I didn't discover this game until 2018 and had literally no interest in playing it. I pre-ordered the game thinking I'd get 20-30 hours in and then uninstall. Don't get my wrong, the lack of proper police chases and AI dumber than a coma patient is unacceptable but the gunplay, story, and hacking element of the game make it worth playing. It's a shame that the horrible launch of the game will probably cripple the chances of a sequel/prequel ever coming out. [link] [comments]

Posted: 11 Jun 2021 08:34 PM PDT As an asset, Night City's code and textures are spectacular, and still worth a fortune in my opinion. By that I mean that CDPR would be foolish not to set up some sort of spiritual successor game using the same assets, thus earning more from that body of work (never mind all the other stuff they knocked out of the park!). This way, we get more 2077, just in a different way. [link] [comments]

Posted: 11 Jun 2021 12:38 PM PDT Me and a friend are working on a mod that uses AI to increase FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 and while the mod is in early access on PC, we tried to run it on a Base PS4. Here's how that went: Notes: We uncapped the PS4's FPS to achieve realistic results. Both tests were conducted by driving in the same area in Japantown. Footage coming tomorrow :) Without Modding:FPS Avg: 27 FPS FPS Max: 32 FPS FPS 1%: 9 FPS With Modding: FPS Avg: 49 FPS FPS Max: 66 FPS FPS 1%: 28 FPS [link] [comments]

Voice Acting - An easy improvement Posted: 11 Jun 2021 04:10 PM PDT Not intended as a criticism, but I think a relatively easy improvement in terms of immersion that's hurting the game right now would be to add some more vocal depth to the NPC and enemy characters in the game. This is separate from the sometimes jarringly bad voice acting that games like this are prone to. I'm talking more about repetition. How many times have you heard "I promise I won't COMPLETELY kill you"? Take away the fact that you have multiple encounters and enemies hit out with the same patter every time with little variation. Again, that's how these games go. But I notice the NPCs repeat the same phrase every 5 seconds, over and over in the same encounter. This isn't a problem if you roll in and smash the place to bits in 20 seconds. But if you're like me (and the game encourages this) you like to sneak around and take your time using your abilities to solve the puzzle of being out numbered, well the second they see a body or hear something, you're listening to the same phrase on a loop, it's really irritating and kills immersion. They need to add depth to the library... lots of it. And the thing is, surely that would be easy as hell to do, and doesn't even really need that much developer resource (They're busy, or they better be). Get a few good voice actors who can do a bunch of characters and pay them for a week each in the booth. The patch would be comparatively tiny, but the impact of immersion and the depth of the game would be huge. A silly thing not to fix. Especially if GTA is the model, this is a cheap and easy way for CDProjekt Red to demonstrate they are committed to building this game and world. But that's just what I think. What do you all think? Anyone else turn off the map while doing their first or second play through? Posted: 12 Jun 2021 01:17 AM PDT I personally found the map super immersion breaking and decided on my 2nd play through to try playing with no map. I honestly had tons more fun that way. It felt much more organic to stumble upon different happenings in the city, and read the texts to figure out where to go next. (I'm playing on Stadia so it's relatively stable) [link] [comments]
