I fucking detest this game's armor system. Armor should be armor. I didn't like it in the Witcher 3 either but at least the armor in the game didn't look stupid.

Public Beta of Wolvenkit is now available.

    Posted: 06 Apr 2021 01:22 PM PDT

After a long and hectic development process, we are very excited to finally announce the public Beta release of Wolvenkit for Cyberpunk 2077. That's right everyone, Wolvenkit is no longer a myth! Though there have been many delays, we greatly appreciate the community and our patrons and contributors for sticking by us throughout the development process, and for the hard work by the many programmers, artists, and researchers that have made this whole project possible. So many incredible breakthroughs and discoveries have been made in Cyberpunk 2077 modding thus far, and we are excited to see what the community can do with the new capabilities that will be made available with the release of Wkit. Modders will now be able to browse game assets, browse, read, and edit most if not all file formats used by the game, manage projects, and more. As this is only the initial release, some features you may expect are still to come in future releases. By choosing to support us, you will be not only be enabling us to continue to develop Wolvenkit and add further functionality and tools for use by the community, but also gain access to exclusive posts and updates on the development process, as well as private community channels, voting power, behind-the-scenes content, and more. Even the smallest amount can help us to continue / spend more time on developing more tools. -Traderain

Patch 1.2 made selling Weapons and Junk ALWAYS better than disassembling to sell the components

    Posted: 06 Apr 2021 05:24 PM PDT

After patch 1.2, prices for selling components severely slashed to $1, $2, etc. It also increase slightly (few eddies) the value the game pays for weapons and junk. Seems to me that it doesn't make sense to disassemble these items types it so we can sell the components. I cannot see a positive with this change for the early (levels 1 through 10) game economy. Am I missing something? What do you folks think?

Example: A Unit Common pistol is valued $39. Before 1.2 I could disassemble it and sell the components for around $80. Now if I disassemble it, components are worth $13. Another example is a junk piece that is worth $3, like a Vinyl record. Before 1.2, I could disassemble it and I get about $17, now the components of it are worth $1.

This created a problem with collecting weapons and clothing items after battles. Differently than junk, Weapons and clothing carry weight. I easily get over encumbered and disassembling weapons and clothing meaning I'm leaving a significant amount of money on the table, as components are worth basically nothing when I try to sell them. Not always there is a close by drop point to sell things. This is a pain in the neck...

If you play the game on 1440p (2K) then Vs' hand is visible in 1H pistol running animation. Small thing but if we are documenting these then here you are.

You can criticize something you find enjoyable.

    Posted: 06 Apr 2021 07:42 AM PDT

I've said that before on this sub. I'll probably say it again. And I think it fits very well on here.

I'll admit, i poke fun and troll a bit of the hardcores on here. But i still like the game.

But there's people on this sub that need to quit acting like every form of VALID thoroughly explained criticism, a lighthearted video capture of a bug, or screenshots of bugs is people "hating the game" or "spreading hate/misinformation" about the game. Or that we somehow "misinterpreted CDPRs statements."

Criticism is needed. Even on things that you and I enjoy.

And I'm obviously not talking about the one sided comments/posts. I mean legitimate, thoughtful criticisms that hardcores seem to attack.
