FAQ & Weekly Simple Questions Thread - Newcomers look here! (Week 33) Posted: 16 Aug 2020 09:05 PM PDT
Feel free to use this thread to ask any simple questions you may have surrounding Cyberpunk 2077 the game, it's lore, merchandise, or anything else related to it! Here is a link to our (old) faq; please check first to see if your question is answered there! Remember to sort by new and if you can, provide a source for your answers. As well, all top level comments must be questions. If anyone is spreading false information (or breaking any other rules), please report the comment. If you have any other concerns, feel free to send a message to the moderators FAQs: Will they release Cyberpunk 2077 early? What about a demo? Character customization early? As cool as that would be, it is very unlikely. When is Cyberpunk 2077 releasing? Cyberpunk 2077 releases on November 19, 2020 Will you be able to preload the game? This is currently unconfirmed; however, it is a fair assumption. What kind of PC should I build? Do I need to upgrade my PC? Can I run it? What are the minimum specs? We don't know yet. Will Cyberpunk 2077 have mod support? Not on launch. Possibly later. If I pre-order the physical edition for PC, what do I get? Can I get the physical pre-order goodies, if I pre-order the digital version of the game? No. You need to pre-order physical to get physical bonuses. Can I play the game in third-person? If I buy the game on current-gen, do I get a free upgrade to next-gen? Yes for Xbox One/Xbox Series X and for PS4/5! What about cross-save? Possible confirmation on Xbox ("pick up where you left off"). No confirmation about PS4/5. When can I get my next news fix? Night City Wire Episode 2, in "just a few weeks.* What are the character customization options?
Can I play without any augmentations/cyberware? No, some will be required for a quest. An example is the Kiroshi optics and subdermal grip from the 2018 gameplay demo. Can I perform a purist (no killing) playthrough? Are there any Cyberpunk books, movies, games, music, etc, that I can look at to fill my hype for now? Subreddit Specific FAQs: Why was my meme removed? See rule 6. Also try posting again on 'Free Talk Friday'. What is 'Free Talk Friday'? Wait, where can I find the rules? They are in the sidebar! You can also click here. Where can I find the last book club post? My post was removed unfairly! More FAQs will be added as they are asked [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Aug 2020 05:54 PM PDT So Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release right after my husband's birthday. I have had a plan to throw him a "Cyberpunk 2077" theme birthday, but I don't know where to start 😬 I've watched plenty of the previews, game play videos etc, I just figured this is the best place to ask for advice. If you are a fan of the upcoming game/genre/style(?) Etc, what would you want at a party themed around it? -cake design -decor -gifts? Already getting him the game of course lol -foos ideas? Edit to add: *We play on PC and use Xbox controllers *My initial cake idea was a cake that looks like his PC, but add cyberpunk somehow? [link] [comments]

Regarding Clothing Customization in-game Posted: 16 Aug 2020 04:40 PM PDT Gotta say, all the varied outfits and fashion styles you see the NPCs all wearing look great! Hope we can go full out with our own clothing like that with our character. What are you guys hoping for? [link] [comments]
After playing Deus Ex MD im probably gonna go net runner Posted: 16 Aug 2020 05:55 PM PDT I recently finished a deus ex MD (amazing game btw) i played using Stealth/hacking build and its probably some of the most fun i have had in a while,it felt incredibly rewarding and satisfying to hack into many things like hacking the security and turning robots/turrets on their allies, unlocking many secret rooms/shortcuts that wouldnt have been usable if i wasnt able to hack them, hacking computers/laptops and reading interesting and even important e-mails and it also helps that the hacking mini game is fun,it just adds a whole new layer to the game that i would have missed out on if i didnt go with that build,i can only imagine how much possibilities cyberpunk 2077 is going to have with the net runner build. Posted: 16 Aug 2020 04:23 PM PDT As the title asks, do we know yet whether the game is using any hitscan weapons, or will all bullets be simulated as projectiles a la the ARMA series? We know for certain that some bullet-based weapons aren't hitscan, namely the smart guns. However, moving frame by frame through game footage, I still can't tell whether the bullets from other guns have travel time or not. [link] [comments] |
