Cyberpunk 2077 is getting crazier with Fan Film and Anime. Absolutely loving it.

The quality of this Fan Film looks better than some of the Hollywood films. Check out the CYBERPUNK 2077 PHOENIX PROGRAM Trailer.

Comparison of the Official Cyberpunk 2077 Standard vs Premium Posters

So basically, I wanted to take a moment and talk about the two different types of posters CDPR have released for this game. I ended up buying a Necessity Over Style premium poster and a Valentinos standard poster, so here are my comparisons (with pictures below):

    Premium Poster

    • Smaller in size, 20x30in
    • Much thicker paper
    • Sturdy and seems rather resistant to ripping
    • Paper has a slightly soft-to-the-touch texture
    • Artwork has a *very* matte finish
    • Inks look very balanced, like the color is rich, but not overly bright or vibrant. More of a natural tone

    Standard Poster

    • Larger in size, closer to 30x40in (as you can see, I had mistakenly thought they were the same size and had bought two 20x30 frames, I got a Robocop poster for the remaining frame though)
    • Much thinner paper
    • More rip prone (I actually did end up with a few small rips in mine as I was trying to get it up on my wall)
    • Paper has kinda your standard poster texture
    • Artwork is definitely not capital 'G' glossy, but only really has aspirations to being matte
    • Inks look bright and vibrant. Maybe a little *too* much so, like the saturation was bumped up just a little bit

The Premium Poster in it's natural habitat

The Standrd Poster in it's natural habitat

A close up of the premium poster

Another closeup of the premium poster, note the 21st Street gang logo and 'Fried Stinky Tofu' advertisement

    What Would Jesus Drive?

Close up of the standard poster

A Displate metal poster, added for funsies

I have an idea on what a plot point in the game could be.

We know now the chip of immortality, the Relic, was manufactured by Arasaka. We also know from the gaming journalists who played the game that this chip is in the hands of Yorinobu Arasaka at the Konpeki Plaza. A look into Yorinobu and his life shows that he rebelled against his father, Saburo, because he hated the evil nature of the company.

Saburo also is obsessed with making himself immortal. Saburo actually planned to have his mind transferred into a computer to make himself live forever when he died. I believe after the events of Firestorm he disappeared because of the horrible reputation brought on Arasaka from the Night City Holocaust. I think Saburo is the hidden antagonist of this game and we were playing right into his hands. His presence in the game may have been revealed with Grimes's music video.

Yorinobu knows his supposedly long gone father would want the Relic so he hides it to make sure his father can stay gone. There are also factions within Arasaka that fight each other at this point. Hanako leads the Bafaku Faction, Michiko leads the Princess Faction, and Yorinobu leads the Rebel Faction.

Yorinobu probably thinks he can't trust anyone so he must take the Relic for himself and keep it out of the hands of any living Saburo loyalist. Maybe Saburo is playing the factions against each other to weaken them so he can easily assume control when the time is right.

Arasaka also seems really gung-ho in stopping V and Jackie after they steal the chip that most of their soldiers probably don't even know about or the purpose of. Maybe Saburo hired Dex, probably by proxy, to steal the chip from his traitorous son. However, since V has the chip in his brain this plan got turned on it's head and now Saburo is desperate to take it back.

TL:DR Saburo is alive and wants the Relic to make himself truly immortal. He may have hired Dex to take it and failed so now he is having Arasaka throw everything they got at V in order to take it back.

Just played Observer and I think this sub would really like it while they wait for Cyberpunk

    Posted: 04 Jul 2020 09:36 AM PDT

I was looking for Cyberpunk genre games while I wait for Cyberpunk 2077 to finally come out and stumbled across a game called Observer. Your character is played by Rutger Hauer (Roy from Blade Runner) who does a terrific job of voicing your character Detective Daniel Lazarski.

Though keep in mind it is a horror game so if you're not a fan of those or get scared too easily then maybe not the best choice of game for you...

Although you are mainly inside this one apartment complex throughout the entirety of the game, it does show glimpses of the outside world here and there where the year is 2084.

The game only goes for around 4 hours if you stick to the main storyline.

But yeah I just thought I'd share this amazing game that I thought this sub would enjoy as it does an amazing job of putting you into a Cyberpunk world where there's a bunch of unique and crazy characters and a very well written story.
