Last week the book club topic was Dredd! Dredd is a 2012 movie, based on the comic strip, Judge Dredd. We hope you all had a chance to watch it over the past week. Please discuss what you thought of it below! -- How do you think the movie compares to the comic? In what ways has it influenced/been influenced by other Cyberpunk media? Do you plan on role-playing any parts of it while playing Cyberpunk 2077? As well, last week we posted a poll to vote for this week's book club, and the winner is: RoboCop! (original + remake) RoboCop is a 1987 movie, remade in 2014. It's about a cop who is turned into a robot! Please vote on next week's topic! (Options: Mona Lisa Overdrive, Elysium, The Matrix) If you want to see something else in the vote for an upcoming week, please tell us in the comments! [link] [comments]

How is Night City architecturally? Posted: 13 Jun 2020 02:21 PM PDT I was wondering, from what we've seen so far of the cityscape and buildings in Cyberpunk 2077, is it all architecturally feasible if it were real? Assuming we had all the resources needed to just build every building that we've seen so far, do all of them make sense in real space? Or do any of them seem unrealistic and unstable if they were in real life? This question is really tricky, especially when we don't know the exact materials these buildings are made out of. I'd assume alotta concrete. Anyways is there anything that so far has stuck out as very unrealistic? Are the highways realistic, would they be able to exist in real life with their proportions and placements? Excluding stuff like holograms, are the signs we see plastered on the sides of buildings realistically proportioned and in spots that would able to be supported if it were real? I'm just curious, especially when considering it's so closely related to our own world, how close everything is to reality structurally. Do things have proper supports, etc. Also would that area have many earthquakes? We know that Night City geographically is where Morro Bay is, how would this effect how buildings are built? What things would the buildings need to be build for and how would the location effect their overall structure? [link] [comments]

The best thing about E3 being cancelled and getting Night City Wire... Posted: 12 Jun 2020 11:37 PM PDT Since this is gonna be an online event, that means everyone is gonna get the same showcasing. Everyone. So there's none of that private screening for attendees. We're all invited. We all get to see some full gameplay segments, which means more screenshots, and more discussions. We get to see it, not being told about it. [link] [comments]
Hey guys let's bounce ideas about characters Posted: 13 Jun 2020 11:23 PM PDT What will you make your character look like it and what would their personality be? I'm thirsty for this game and I want to distract myself like this [link] [comments] |
