Am I the only one who wants to drive a shitty car? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 08:04 AM PDT For me atleast, I've always enjoyed games like GTA driving non-standard cars. The cheaper slower cars. I'm really excited to hopefully be able to do this in Cyberpunk aswell. idk what it is, but there's a certain allure to driving a shit car rather than a fast amazing piece of metal. Posted: 08 Jun 2020 09:18 PM PDT I haven't bothered to purchase a system in years, because I didn't have a game that excited me enough. Now I finally do, and it's delivered today while I'm at work. I get home, champing at the bit to open her up and...she's not here. I'm sure someone in my apartment complex stole it, but I highly doubt I'll ever find out who. Walmart is issuing a refund, but everywhere is sold out. I'm decimated. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Jun 2020 04:54 PM PDT I know it's probably just exaggeration, but if Night City really was voted the worst place to live in America then what about the other states/cities? What place is the best to live? There's not much info on many of the states and cities aside from little tidbits of which gang/nomad group comes from where. Is there any more information on some of the other states? Especially some of the states that don't seem to have much going on with them like Georgia, Tennesee, Maryland, etc. There are 2 maps which show cities and natural disasters. Nothing seems to have really happened to them, so wouldn't they be pretty okay places to live compared to places that had a big earthquake/plague or crumbling infrastructure? I know especially Atlanta has a very busy airport and many military bases, South Carolina also has many military bases. How would that play into the fact they were under martial law? Wouldn't they be better prepared for that because they have higher military presence? There are just a few states that have literally nothing said about them and that makes me curious. Tennessee atleast probably has more musicians there, or themed-gangs related to that. Also the CDC is headquartered in Georgia, so what would that mean for potential plagues? Would there be more med-tech to salvage there? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Jun 2020 10:34 PM PDT So looking at the gameplay the 48 minute one and some pictures I've seen why does she look blonde in one but in the game she's brunette or is it just her from before? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Jun 2020 12:30 PM PDT "Inside of the Cyberspace you will be able to summon Phantasy-RPG-like creatures and warriors who can, for example, burn out another hacker," When I've read Cyberpunk 2020 manual - part about the netrunning, I saw all those programs that could be used in Cyberspace: Watchdog, Bloodhound; Hydra, Dragon; Brainwipe or Zombie. Never in my slightest imaginations I could hope to expect that someone could actually implement those mechanics into a video game. I hope that this is not a mistranslation from the podcast, but even if a part of such mechanics is true, it would be insanely fun. Suddenly this game became more expected than ever. How you guys feel about such concept and how do you imagine such Cyberspace could work in a modern video game? [link] [comments]

Cyberpunk 2077 Sticker for my PC Posted: 08 Jun 2020 11:15 AM PDT

Posted: 08 Jun 2020 01:31 PM PDT Before anyone asks, no I am not naive enough to believe that there is a traditional "good guy" in a cyberpunk universe, especially amongst the corporations. The main reason why I ask is because of the sides that the named characters chose. At least during the raid on the Arasaka Tower, the more honorable characters (relatively speaking) like Johnny Silverhand and Morgan Blackhand sided with Militech while the less honorable characters like Adam Smasher sided with Arasaka, indicating to me that Militech was considerred the "good guy" at least narratively. Now I only have a general knowledge of Cyberpunk 2020/2077 lore, so my characterizations of the characters could be completely wrong. Were these characterizations wrong and how so? If not, was it just a case that the honorable characters hated Arasaka more than Militech (I know Johnny did) and their goals briefly aligned with Militech, or was there a big enough difference between the actions of both coporations that made it a little clearer about who can be considerrd the "good guy"?
