    I have been seeing an increase of WHY DO WE HAVE CUSTOMISATION WHEN WE ARE STUCK IN FPP posts. Please read... if you disagree comment why and let's have a healthy discussion...

    1 - There are still 3rd person cutscenes within the game

    2 - Statements like why not just add 3rd person as a choice ... The main reason I can see is that many of the mechanics are built for the first person perspective. Example... Dialogue, in 2077 you don't have dialogue as you do in witcher 3 or fallout.

    All the dialogue is dynamic and in real-time. And Choices on what you say depends on what you look at. For example PACIFICA DEMO. At one moment when placide is interviewing V someone interrupts him. If you look at that person, you get a new set of dialogue options... Imagine that in 3rd person... It would be clunky and not work... also tense moments like this... would feel less impactful in 3rd Person IMO

    3 - I'm sure CDPR looked at these points of BUT WHY HAVE CUSTOMISATION IF WE CANNOT SEE V and still felt that FPP would be more immersive and a better experience.

    I get the want to see V, but I assure you after personally seeing the FULL DEEP DIVE at comic con in 2019. You see V a lot more than you think.

    While I am an avid fan of the Cyberpunk genre/universe/game (Also a frequently active member of this sub on occasion), I really, REALLY don't want to bitch about any of this, but I feel the necessity that some certain topics and issues need to be addressed and shot in the back of the head for good.

    I'll preface this by saying this isn't calling anybody specific out, but some people need to learn to use their brain and either understand certain topics have been discussed, thoroughly or repeatedly, albeit with the same answer, or learn how to use reddit in a better capacity for searching (or google, whichever) yet some people don't seem to learn or are totally ignorant and oblivious to the game's already amassing interest and fanbase and theories that have already surfaced. I'm not speaking for everyone, I know some of you are new and want to ask questions, that's totally fine, but I speak for the sub as an interest at heart, and in the same breath, no, i'm not going to cite my sources, do it yourself.

    Let's start with the easiest;

    • The Developers have already stated that Ciri, of Witcher 3 fame, WILL NOT, I repeat, WILL NOT, be featured in the game, as a cameo or sidequest character, or anywhere NEAR the cyberpunk universe. Yes yes yes, We all already know about the fateful easter egg line in W3 where she briefly describes the universe of Cyberpunk, and I can already almost 100% guarantee that one of two things will happen; The sub will be flooded with sad Ciri fans pleading CDPR to be put into the game, or modders will blithely stick her in there for their own sick perversions, considering it's an R-rated game.
    • Nobody, for definite, can accurately describe the character they want to customise/play as; their are no confirmed customisation options deep enough for us to legitimately take a stab at the idea of playing as a bearded chick with huge tits, teen voice and a cyber-dong with a face stuck in an aheago. SO STOP ASKING.
    • As much as I enjoy the posts of "I wish mechanic X was in the game", gameplay theories can only go so far. To say that the gameplay will remain relative to FPS elements is pretty shallow in itself, but expecting too much will kill the game and it's already overindulged hype factor. I agree, it SHOULD by all accounts, cram in as much as they possibly can, but ONLY in relation to the 2020 tabletop rulebook.

    You got this far? Good. Time for the fun points.

    • The cinematic or gameplay trailers don't need to be fervently over-obsessed about. anything that the reveal/cinematic trailer may have already given us has already had it's fill in terms of being dissected and observed to give new tidbits of informations over the better part of 2 years. We're all hankering for some new pieces of info to jump back on the hype train, thats fair and legitimate, but we don't need a shot-for-shot analysis of content that has already been deconstructed.
    • My personal favourite; June. Summer. 2020. the E3 event where CDPR would've shown us more gameplay and information and regearing up the hype train for the games release? June. Aptly renamed SummerGameFest. Not the middle of may, not tomorrow, not because you pleaded with the exec team on twitter to see gameplay, not because xbox are teasing us with some more ARG bullshit hype. No demos or teases. June. After that, It's a sweet, smooth, blissful and content filled ride of 3 months waiting time for the game to drop. If we get blessed by earlier content, so be it, but don't hold your breath.
    • No, we can't see fully explicit unfiltered sex scenes with interactive position changing.
    • No, I hope, that we're not going to see a full community of modders dedicated to invoking furry mods into the game.

    Right now, that's all i've got, but please can newer members take this into consideration before we back the sub up with repetitive posts on said topics. it's brilliant to see that your interested in the games upcoming release and are willing to buy in on the experience, but simmer your collective cyber-buns and just chill.
