With E3 Canceled, I Hope We Still Hear From CD Projekt Red on Cyberpunk 2077 Before Release. Posted: 11 Mar 2020 12:29 AM PDT E3 has been canceled due to the coronavirus. It was rumored that CD Projekt Red would have some presence at E3 2020, yet now I wonder.
I'm hoping that they decide to post some kind of livestream event around the same time E3 would have taken place. Even if it's just a ten minute video of gameplay, or a small presentation like last year.
Maybe show off the character creator a bit more, or run around the city and do a quick side quest. Perhaps there'll be katanas! [link] [comments]

Cyberpunk 2077 will release in Australia. Y'all can calm down (including me) Posted: 10 Mar 2020 03:48 PM PDT Australians have been freaking out over the reflex boosters in the game and how they might get the game banned in our country. Worry not though, because all the drugs in Cyberpunk 2077 are fictional and the ones based on real narcotics like Synth-Coke have no incentives. The Australian Classification Board does not give a shit about fictional drugs, they care about the real ones. Fallout 4 had narcotics similar to the ones in Cyberpunk 2077 but it still got released in Australia. Here is a link if you don't believe me: https://www.carls-fallout-4-guide.com/chems.php I think someone needs to end the hysteria over a ban. Us Aussies will get our cyberpunk fix [link] [comments]

Posted: 10 Mar 2020 05:00 PM PDT WARNING! SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD!... ISH! So I've been looking forward to season 2 of Altered Carbon since the first season, and like many on here, liked that it would be coming out now during our wait for CP2077. For any who haven't seen it, it is a great show based in a cyberpunk setting, and a good fix while we wait for CP2077 to finally release. But I have to say, this second season was quite a let down compared to the first. With an almost complete change from all of the main characters, a very different direction in the plotline than the first, and all around some really disappointing acting. It's not quite the fix or even the season 2 I was hoping for. Did anyone else feel this way? I still watched the entire thing and I will say it's at least worth watching to get some resolution to things from the first season. But it also goes so far off from the first that it made the first almost seem pointless. The main character wasn't just played by a different actor, he acted like a different person. His fighting skills seemed to also be scaled way back. Our beloved Poe was reduced to almost nothing and was frequently belittled by our main character. Almost all the other main characters are gone. Suffice it to say, I was rather let down. To any who have also watched this show, what are your thoughts on this newest season? [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Mar 2020 11:56 PM PDT So it seems the the corona virus might end up becoming a problem and there's a couple cases where I live so I might not see the release of cyberpunk. But alas it was nice to get to know u all and get hyped for this game, in the end I wish u all luck and prayers for you and your families [link] [comments]
Question about new Cyberpunk 2077 from an old Cyberpunk 2020 player Posted: 10 Mar 2020 09:09 AM PDT Has the corporate setup changed from the original? Is there any actual governmental control? Does Night City still exist or is it based in pseudo realistic actual locations? I have yet to read a lot about it but I was a huge fan and participant in the original Cyberpunk 2020 and still have all the books. How much of the original is still applicable to the new game? I really hope the melee combat is like Dishonored 2 Posted: 10 Mar 2020 10:40 AM PDT I'm playing through Dishonored 2, at the moment, and I'm still blown away with how fluid the combat is; especially in stealth. I would love if we got the same style of gameplay in CP2077! Could you imagine, infiltrating a gang base, as a Cyperpunk ninja? Jumping from ledge to ledge, hacking and taking out enemies from the dark. I can't wait to see what stealth combat is like! [link] [comments]
Can we play cyberpunk with mouse and keyboard on console ? Posted: 10 Mar 2020 06:53 AM PDT Since the game is fps i think it will be better if we have the option to play with mkb [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Mar 2020 01:36 AM PDT Just a quick question, the last time 6 months ago we got this 16min gameplay video, was there not a closed door event with more gameplay that they were going to show us later on? Have I missed this or have it not been released yet, do we know when to expect this? [link] [comments] |
