    Why is everyone obsessed with Third Person

    As the title says why are so many people upset over the First Person view that the game will have? Why not appreciate the game as the developers intended? I even heard people go as far as saying they cancelled preorders because of it.

    Edit: Not trying to offend anyone just wondering out of curiosity what is everyone's take on the situation.

    Regained my hype

    After the recent delay of the game I started to loose the hype and was getting annoyed by the "lack" of gameplay or trailers. Today I rewatched the 48 minute gameplay and deep dive videos. I gotta say, it revamped my hype. I also now see that there is enough media out there for the game. Both videos show a glimpse of gameplay, mechanics, customization choices (hopefully there will be more than that in the game), weapons and glimpses of how our choices affects the story. I know it still sucks that the game got delayed, but the game can only get better now. Hopefully it doesn't get delayed again and we can enjoy the game when the time comes.

    Not strictly related to the game, but this guy literally modified his cyborg arm to interface it with his synthetizer and make electronic music. You won't get much more Cyberpunk than this in real life.

    How “hardcore” is the game?

    Hi all,

    First time posting, so apologies if I run afoul of the rules. But I am definitely a fan of this game (I remember when the paper/pencil version came out waaay back when).

    I had a question: we've seen a lot of gameplay footage that I understand is WIP, but I was wondering: is there going to be anything like a hardcore mode? Is there any info on that? For example:

    • Halo has Legendary (and SLASO).
    • Fallout 4 has survival.
    • Deus Ex has "Give me Deus Ex" (I think that's what it's called?)

    A game mode/setting where you can't just go in guns all blazing (at least not all the time) because the game is at a setting that is designed to be harsh, difficult, realistic, and unforgiving - for those who want a challenge?

    Just a thought, but what if the delay is because the arg has slowed and they want people to have enough time to crack it. I know it sounds dumb to delay a whole game 5 months just because of an ARG, but it's just a thought.
