You know what I really hope Cyberpunk 2077 has? Empty spaces.

Especially given that the game will be set in such a densely populated city, I really hope there are instances in the game where you just don't have anything to do, whether that is in the form of travel time or simply being able to chill in your room and play some side games (cough Gwent cough).

One of the mistakes so many games make is that they try to cram so much content, much of which ends up being repetitive and largely useless, into every single square inch, and it makes the world feel extremely cluttered and unrealistic. Pacing in map design is incredibly important, and CDPR had it basically perfect in the Witcher 3.

Appreciation post; look how stacked the standard edition of the game is. I guess CD Projekt knew the game was special so the standard edition had to reflect that. This would've costed like $80 from other companies, but not CD Projekt at all. Thank you... tho most of the content means nothing to me.

Some companies sell the soundtracks for $11, digital art book normally comes with a special edition costing at least $69.99... Rockstar also shipped maps with GTA V... and then there's the sourcebook and compendium... all for only $60.

How will you guys deal with spoilers? [Post-Release]

    Posted: 06 Jan 2020 08:30 PM PST

Hey guys, we have 100 days left! I've been waiting for this game since I was a kid and I cannot compare my hype for it to anything else however I know that because of how mainstream the internet and media is, everyone has a voice including those who enjoy spoiling things for others for a quick laugh. I remember subreddits like the 4chan subreddit spoiled Star Wars and Fallout 4 upon detail leaks and whatnot. I forsee even bigger troll campaigns for Cyberpunk. It's a trolls wet dream. Most hyped game release I've seen in all of my life.

How are you guys going to handle this? I don't want to power through this game but I also want to completely ignore most of the internet until I do. I guess I'll just keep myself busy with work and hobbies in my off time.

What mini-games would you like to see in Cyberpunk 2077?

    Posted: 06 Jan 2020 10:52 PM PST

So according to the developers, there will be no Gwent-like card game or "Cyber-Gwent" in Cyberpunk 2077. The revealed mini-games so far include an underground fighting arena, car racing, hacking and target shooting.

Personally, after seeing the E3 2018 trailer where there were several individuals playing Pool (Billiards) in a bar; I immediately thought "How awesome would it be to play pool in a Cyberpunk world!"

Playing Pool (Billiards) is a timeless activity that has been around since the 15th century and was made popular in the United States during the 19th century; so it is very retro, yet current.

Also in keeping with the theme of playing retro, yet current trends of popular amusement; Arcade games would also perfectly fit as a fun mini-game in Night City.

Playing Pool and Arcade games are timeless and would more than fit in with the retro 80s & 90s future that Cyberpunk is known for and obviously the Arcade games couldn't be 'actual' known Arcade games - but maybe some small side projects done by the developers; like in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (Go Go Space Monkey, They Crawled From Uranus, Let's Get Ready To Bumble, Duality) and the numerous new additions to Grand Theft Auto V - you would have Arcade games to play that are unique to the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.

Other than Pool (Billiards) and Arcade games, what mini-games would you like to see in Cyberpunk 2077?

    Pre-loading

    Posted: 06 Jan 2020 08:34 AM PST

Not sure if this question has been asked already, but does anybody know if we will be able to pre-load the game before it officially releases? In other words will players be able to download the game 24 hours or so early, but not be able to play/launch it until the official time of release?
