103 days til release but 128 days since any substantial media

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 02:31 PM PST

Its been 128 days since the deep dive video but soon we will be under 100 days til release a d we have not really seen any substantial media for the game. Too much stuff is speculative and at some point, CDPR needs to come out early to be more transparent on certain things. If not, people goes into 16 April with extremely high expectations that will not be met.

This thread will be locked cause of that stupid "low effort" rule but I figure I still let this be known.

    Hybrid character?

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 10:29 PM PST

Is it possible to be sort of a hybrid? I'm thinking of having a solo with strength and a few hacking capabilities. Basically a healthy combo

Music you'd like to hear in Cyberpunk 2077?

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 04:51 PM PST

I understand there are making a lot of original music for the game (something I am very excited about), but is there any existing music you'd like to hear in game? For example, I think a lot of trip-hop, like Massive Attack and Sneaker Pimps (specifically the Becoming X album), would fit the atmosphere of the game wonderfully. In addition to that, It would also be funny to see some kind of reference to Billy Idol's Cyberpunk. So what are your thoughts?

    GOG vs Steam

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 10:10 PM PST

The GOG site says it's DRM Free. So I assume the steam version has DRM. Anyone know what drm CD:PR uses and if it would slow down a game:

Yes I know it's impossible to know until the game drops. But this is a discussion.

    One thing I’m disappointed in

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 08:07 PM PST

I like the first person perspective, but I really wish for cutscenes it would go into actual camera angles and be cinematic. I know they said it would happen occasionally but I'd rather it happen all the time. I like game cutscenes to be like movies.

    Attributes, attribute points, and playstyles.

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 01:29 PM PST

In the Deep Dive video I noticed there were "Playstyles" and "Attribute Points". In the part where you create your attribute points, the gameplay showed that you start off with 22 points and choose how you want to create your character's attributes. Like this, the chosen attribute points add up to 22:

All add up to 22 total points to choose to your attributes. This is in the character creation part of the video.

But in the "Playstyles" part of the video, the points added up to 33 and they said you can also make a hybrid character of your own:

All playstyle points add up to 33, this is in the playstyles part of the video.

I dont understand, if you are choosing attributes in the character creation, what is the point of playstyles that have 33 points in total instead of the character creation part that has 22? CD Projekt RED, please answer. So lemme clear it up. Do you choose playstyles first and then start off choosing your attributes with 33 points or go straight to the character creation part with 22 points to start off? So confused.

    1. How many points do you actually start off with? 33 or 22?
    2. What is the difference between playstyles that has 33 attribute points vs character creation attribute part with 22 points?
    3. And can you make hybrid classes with 33 points or 22?

EDIT: NEVERMIND I FIGURED OUT THE ANSWER. THE PLAYSTYLES ARE JUST SAVES FROM THE DEMO OF THE GAME THAT ARENT GONNA BE IN THE FINAL PRODUCT. IN THE END YOU START OFF WITH 22 POINTS AFTER ALL. (i edit with caps)

    Cyberpunk Preorder

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 05:17 PM PST

Is there any news on there being different editions of the game being placed on marketplaces that include expansion passes and what not? Just wondering if I should wait on preordering until those make their way out.

Would pre-ordering the game be worth it?

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 02:35 PM PST

A lot of people probably asked this question but I'm too lazy to search.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma with this because I haven't played CDPR games before. I know they're reliable, and will deliver on the Cyberpunk hype. But is it still worth risking a pre-order instead of a day 1 purchase or even waiting until reviews come out?

It's going to be a bit of an expensive Spring for me because I'm definitely pre-ordering The Last of Us Part 2 once I make my mind up about this game and I wanna plan ahead accordingly.

If I had to put money on it, I'd bet that the game well be delayed

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 02:11 PM PST

As much as I'm praying this game comes out April 15th. I have a huge suspicion that it's gonna be delayed.
