- It will be 2077 BS in Nepali calender in 2020, April of 13. It's 2076 this year. The release date of CP 2077 is April 16. I have no idea if it's related or not but I couldn't help but post it here.
- While there's all this talk of the new map updates, I though it might be interesting for those who haven't seen some of the details in the original tabletop! Interested to see how close the layout will be in 2077
- We could already see the entire map in the Deep Dive video. I don't know how much of it is accessible though.

Do some have unrealistic expectations regarding the density of the city? Posted: 03 Dec 2019 10:09 PM PST I always believed the Achilles heel of this game will be the map size and how deep it is. I understand CDPR said that while the map will be smaller than TW3, it will be more vertical and deep. But are some here having unrealistic expectations on what this actually means? Its like a person telling you that if you goto XYZ school that you will become a very wealthy person. You may perceive this "very wealthy" as being multi-millionaire but in actuality they meant it 6 figures. So instead of making $15,000,000 a year which they expected, they are very wealthy as they are making $150,000 a year. $150,000 a year is not bad, but it isnt $15,000,000 a year. I think when it comes to this "density" or "verticality" argument, I think people are expecting $15mil instead of $15k. CDPR showed us that mega building in last year's E3 video which was deep, but how many of those types of buildings are in the game that all have the same scale of interiors? [link] [comments]

Don't worry about the map's size. Posted: 03 Dec 2019 12:31 AM PST To those concerned about NC's size: If the map is properly scaled, remember: we've seen Westbrook's famous cluster of skyscrapers live in demo already - it seems pretty enormous in-game, and yet is just a blip on the map: Having said that, the map on the cover isn't neccessarily in scale anyways. It may be simplified, zoomed out, or certain districts and landmarks are exagerrated because of their importance, hence the city seems 'smaller'. Also - verticality, as was mentioned already, and infamous Badlands around the city. It'll be fine. Edit: for those involving some trigonometry and whatnot into this - it's just a map, and on it the location of the cluster is shown, nothing more, mates. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Dec 2019 04:18 AM PST I mean... Look at the videos and animations being done with imaginary people in Skyrim even now. Move that over to a much higher quality game engine and excellent face scans and models and you have a recipe for entire movies being made starring a guy that could be old and wrinkly in 10 years. What do you think? Is this Cyberpunk 2077's "Gibson moment?" [link] [comments]
Is there going to be a "The Art of Cyberpunk 2077" Artbook? Posted: 03 Dec 2019 02:40 PM PST I know we are getting a "World Compendium" book with the preorders and there is a "The World of Cyberpunk 2077" from Black Horse, but those (if I understand correctly, feel free to tell me if I'm wrong) are lore books with a couple of images and not fully fledged artbooks with drawings and concept art (for example like this one from Fallout 4). Is there ever going to be something like that? Or is the current book from Dark Horse just that with a bit of lore sprinkled on top? [link] [comments] |
