I think we should appreciate what CDPR are trying to achieve

Instead of rant/salt and other substances about [any subject you wanted to have seen already in unfinished game], we should really appreciate what CDPR are doing, and what they are not.

    1. They are NOT creating new visual benchmark of the generation,
    2. They are NOT developing new Doom,
    3. They are NOT promising absolute freedom life sim.

Instead they ARE: 1. Creating believable open world, 2. Making a story game, 3. Developing non-linear RPG system, 4. Giving you tools to customize your character gameplay- and story- wise.

You see where I'm going? CP2077 is not a shooter game, not a looter shooter. It's not about shooting or breathtaking visuals. It's about your story and your role in that story. And if you watched devs Q&A after yesterday's deep dive you can certainly say CDPR are doing all they can to achieve this. And knowing their expertise in that area I believe they will.

P.S. Thanks for support you kind Sirs!

The bug where enemies keep talking after being shot, as seen in last year's demo, has been corrected. Here you can see an enemy starting to say “Make some fuckin' holes” but cutting off and screaming in pain.

I'm not sure I want to know every freaking detail about the game before launch. Maybe I'm old school, but discovering cool features in a game are the bees knees

DLSS and poor video compression are probably the two causes of the blurriness present in the latest demo

    Posted: 31 Aug 2019 04:49 PM PDT

Here is a in game example of the effect https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJHxQnFWmPg

You will notice a very similar look to the one presented in the latest demo, lack of detail on background objects and high details objects such as the wood on the rifle look very blurry.

DLSS is used to improve performance and in this case has been used to make up for the frame loss caused by RTX. In other words this effect is completely optional and in the final build of the game it might be greatly improved or may not be needed due to better optimisation.

I would say a combination of this and the poor compression of the video have caused this heavy blur effect. I don't think any graphical downgrade is presented in the latest demo, in fact I think the graphics look improved in alot of way especially skin meshes, reflections and overall lighting and atmosphere.

Animations also look greatly improved especially bullet impact animations, how the enemies react to being hit is very well done. Compare this to the original demo where enemies had a very "puppet on strings" look to them when they died, and overall hardly reacted to bullet impacts.

If we look at the recent screenshots released some of these screenshots are clearly in game and show footage from the players perspective, they are incredibly clear and detailed and I think this is a much more accurate representation of the current look of the game.

And please let's not speak about Silverhand, I think he needs some serious plastic surgery.

Aside from amazing overall world building and visuals, outstanding voice acting, animations, music, mature approach to the story, depth in meelee combat, hacking availability and showcasing of the Net... I loved the idea behind holographic floating ads, towering above Night City.

You guys have got some seriously awesome ideas!
