Does anyone else agree that there should be a separate subredit for screenshots and V's selfies? Posted: 23 Jul 2021 04:08 AM PDT It's tiresome to wade through dozens of posts with screenshots and V's selfies to find some interesting posts. I also think that the game looks stunning: the design, models, the city are absolutely top notch. However, I believe so many other aspects of CP2077 need improvement / rework that it should be a priority here. So is anyone with me on this? [link] [comments]

Has all cyberpunk content been delayed? Posted: 23 Jul 2021 11:23 PM PDT This games launch was a big mess, we all know that. Bug fixes "were" needed, and still are, and well, from what I know, literally zero new content has been added since launch. They promised a multiplayer mode, free DLC, extra missions, more cars, guns, blah blah blah. I finished the game once, honestly really enjoyed it, created a bunch of random saves messing around with the character creation, even tried some mods, and then I completely ran out of things to do. Is all of that new content pushed away for now? I haven't looked at one of their roadmaps in months. [link] [comments]

Posted: 23 Jul 2021 06:21 PM PDT My fellow chooms! Say what you will after 7 months of criticism and bugs and letdowns, playing through Pyramid Song is such a cathartic, serene, emotional, and mysterious experience…;) after all the killing and backstabbing of the main plot, this mission comes out of nowhere like bottled lightning, and is all the proof I need that CDPR truly captured something wonderful here…it's an achingly beautiful mission that's a quiet breath of fresh air, hidden beneath the waves and smog of Night City…laugh at me all you want, but it's up there for me with the snowball fight and the Kaer Morhen drinking night from Witcher 3…was Cyberpunk perfect? Hell no…but was Pyramid Song?? ABSOLUTELY [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Jul 2021 06:24 PM PDT This is in response to earlier posts about not being so negative in this sub. I'm here because 1) i like the game, 2) I'm upset by the current state of the game and 3) to keep informed about new changes and updates that will fix it. Here's my question: why would anyone want to pretend the game isn't currently broken, and barely playable on some systems, when there are actually people coming here for advice about buying it, and also people from CDPR checking for things they need to fix? Do you have a vested interest in blowing smoke up someone's ass and convincing them to buy a broken game, or that the game didn't need further updates to fix it? All those posts complaining about bugs, or showing video of them, actually serve a purpose because they 1) bring attention to problems, 2) allow comments to offer possible solutions and 3) give people a chance to say "I had that too, on my ...", which allows the developers to gauge the severity of the problem, how common it is and what versions are affected. These things help them prioritize what they should focus on first. This is a good game, but it's broken. People are allowed to enjoy it, but they're also allowed to complain about it being broken. You can like the improvements that have been made, but also be upset with new bugs making things worse in other ways. Ignoring, or trying to silence either side isn't going to end well for anyone. Without the bug posts, things would take longer to get fixed. Without the praise, they might just decide the game is too fucked up, and the positive aspects too nonexistent, to worry about fixing it, and they might just write it off as a failure. Also, just throwing this out there, "night city is beautiful" pics are just objectively less interesting than something like "watch as i drive over a weapon and get launched into space", and also definitely less helpful than "my game keeps doing this. Anyone have a suggestion?" You know those posts about cut content? Yeah, modders are working on that stuff, because they thought it would be cool and saw others were interested in it. If you really believe the game is perfect as is, i assume you've already disabled updates, right? If it's perfect, any more updates could only make it worse. If you think this game is beyond fixing, i assume you uninstalled it and got a refund, right? After all, if it's beyond redeeming, then updates won't do anything to improve the situation. Have they STILL not fixed the bug with merchants not stocking blueprints after the first visit? Posted: 23 Jul 2021 04:05 PM PDT Just started up Cyberpunk 2077 today to see what sort of progress they've made with the bug fixes and clothing merchants still don't seem to sell any blueprints. How have they still not fixed this bug after all these months? I mean, come on, I invested a bunch of perks in crafting that are borderline useless because I can't get any blueprints. In fact, not much of anything at all seems to have changed at all. Have they just been sitting on their asses all this time? [link] [comments]

Trapped in the closet... er, Barry's apartment Posted: 23 Jul 2021 08:35 AM PDT I just want to warn you all that it's possible to get permanently stuck in Barry's apartment. If you tell the cops about the tortoise, then knock on Barry's door before the cops get there, he'll answer it and you can run into the apartment. Then when the cops come in, the door locks behind them, sealing you in forever. Do not recommend. [link] [comments] |
