this game feels like a really janky unity game sometimes (I could name like 10 things that are janky looking in this short clip)

    Game Over “Flatline” Screen

    Posted: 16 Jun 2021 10:41 PM PDT

We've seen 2 examples of the Biochip resurrecting V when they die in the story by both Deshawn and the Voodoo Boys. So if the chip saves V's life in the story, why did the devs make a game over "flatline" screen where you have to load a previous save if you die during gameplay? Why not have it be like Dark Souls or Stardew Valley where you wake up at V's apartment, or near the closest Fast Travel point? Or like Fable 2/3 where you just get right back up but also acquire penalties?

I think the path of least resistance ending is brilliant

    Posted: 16 Jun 2021 03:21 AM PDT

It's just such a brilliant end to an adventure like this and not many games have the balls to drop a option like that, it reinforces just how dark the game can get and that not everything has a happy ending, i also love the entirety of how it plays out how it's your decision and you have to face it, i love how the last conversation with johny plays out and that he doesn't approve of your actions but understands it. The game switching to a 3rd person perspective here also makes you feel like a onlooker rather than V himself. It's not the ending i wanted to pick but it's the ending that fits the disgusting dark and terrible world of cyberpunk the most

    Your thoughts on the ending?

Suggestion for a future update, add a way for us to manually trigger the weapon inspect animations.

    Posted: 16 Jun 2021 03:18 PM PDT

Sometimes it's the little things that make you enjoy a game, and the weapon inspect animations were so well done it's a shame we never see them. I know if your running a gunslinger build with an overture it'd be fun to spin the gun around before holstering it.
