I wish we had a new game+ to play the game all over with our weapons and gear

    Posted: 09 Jun 2021 11:56 PM PDT

So I personally wish NG+ was a thing so I could redo the whole campaign with my legendary gear and max level to play it again cause currently I'm trying to do every activity on the map and I'm halfway done but once I finish what is there left to do? I hope CDPR adds NG+ in a future update personally I played all three life paths

Journey to the center of the sun?

    Posted: 09 Jun 2021 12:46 PM PDT

    my. goodness.

    Posted: 09 Jun 2021 07:57 PM PDT

just finished the story. saw all the endings except for one; currently backtracking 20 hours to unlock it the hidden ending.

and my goodness what a game. i waited about 7 months to finally play it and actually didnt run into many bugs on series s. was looking for a new game to get lost in and holy shit did i find it. just wanted to share my appreciation.

obviously no spoilers here but if you want to get that hidden ending look up a spoiler free guide once you unlock chippin in mission. couple confusing reports i found when looking up a guide and after testing for myself, it really only depends on the dialogue options during that mission. i havent tested dialogue options prior to that mission but i can confirm it doesn't have anything to do with 70% johnny relationship. i tested it at 40% percent after selecting specific dialogue on chippin in and it triggered the hidden ending option. didnt have to even do another johnny related mission in order to trigger the hidden ending either.

only writing this to potentially save others from another 10-20hours of backtracking or if no backup save, having to start from the beginning which would be even worse.

yes i know i am probably not sharing anything new here, but i know i myself couldnt get an answer and then kept getting contradictions when i went looking for em myself. even ign still has a page up that isnt exactly accurate. two of em actually.

im still leveling back up my previous save so i actually dont know how the hidden ending even ends yet so please no spoilers in this thread.

anyway.. yes amazing game cant wait to see what type of dlc we might get. 👍🏾

Just finished the game on PS5. Loved the writing but hated how broken the game was. Had some opinion for future DLC and Multi-player!

    Posted: 09 Jun 2021 07:51 PM PDT

I want to start off by saying that this is one of the best games I've played in terms of writing an character interaction. I honestly hated Johnny and V in the beginning, but as they both grew together I started to care about their characters, not as much as I cared about the side characters though. I've never been this invested in side character's story and want to applaud the writers for making such an amazing story.

Having said all that, the game is also the buggiest game I've ever played in my life. If not for being so enthralled with the writing I would've given up after the 10th crash or 5th bugged unworking mission. I lost count after 30+ crashes. I know that's all the fault of the head honchos and the writers and developers didn't have much to do with that. I know it must've been rough for them seeing their art released in that state.

I also think the game was missing a lot. I was expecting more missions revolving around the gangs. There are lots of Dialog options with Judy involving the moxes. Asking about them but we never interact with them in any meaningful way. Plus there's that character named "mox" outside of the mox bar that always shows up with a green circle like a side character but you never have any special interactions with them. I had no interaction with the Animals or the Voodoo boys outside of their specific missions leading up to finding ALT. It feels like missions for these gangs and their characters was intended to be included but ultimately cut to make a release.

Some of my other complaints: - Not enough variety in clothing sets - Not enough customization for the character. Would've liked to get as large as an animal or get super borged up like Maelstrom. - It felt as if there were a ton of loose ends in the game. So many dialog options hinting at more going on but not letting you interact with any of it. - More netrunner options would've been fun. - Ability to change your appearance or even gender after you started. It's a futuristic world where I can replace my arms and legs but can't get a haircut? Lmao - Non-binary options for gender. - I wish we got more from characters that died. Or some options to save them. I feel so bad about what happened to Evelyn and the game gave me no option to prevent any of it.

Predictions for DLC and Multi-player: - Probably a raid on the casino since that's the ending I got. - Something focusing on Rogue's son, which could also be Johnny's son? - Gang missions that unlock entire quest lines for different gangs. - more info on the Peralez's and give their story turns out. - Mad Max style map featuring Panam in the Badlands. - New Hacks and abilities. Personally I think it would be cool to have a hack that would trigger leg cybernetics causing a guard to jump into the ceiling and knock themselves out. Or jump super high and take fall damage. Or a remote control hack that let's you basically "Possess" enemies. - Jetpack cybergear and ability to buy AVs and flying them around. - More quests involving side characters like Nix or really any of the interesting side characters that we barely interact with. Maybe something in the future featuring Misty and Jackie's kid which I think would be a fun twist.

Multi-player predictions: - Gang based warfare across the city. - Ability to fully join factions like nomads or corporate. - Netrunner abilities will likely be fully reworked.

Would love to here opinions on how they would re-work netrunning or other abilities to work in competitive Multi-player.

Where the f*** is the f***ing roadmap

    Posted: 09 Jun 2021 12:53 PM PDT

And by roadmap, i don't care about hard delivery dates. Just looking for... "We're working on a casino, housing system, clothing separate from gear, other appearance options, night life, more interaction with vendors, and many more money sinks to make the end game indefinite."

    Or SOMETHING in this realm.

    Fool On The Hill

    Posted: 09 Jun 2021 06:36 PM PDT

    !Spoilers!

I think one of my favorite things about this game is how it subtly informs you how the characters and events happening in the story impact V's journey with the usage of the Tarot cards and the Fool On The Hill side job.

My first time playing I hunted them down and simply turned the quest in but on subsequent runs I delayed finishing it because I noticed every Tarot seems to connect to a specific place or person.

The easiest one is The Fool, That's V and it's located quite literally where the story of the biochip begins.

Another easy one is The Tower, it's located at Arasaka Tower. Yeah it's an easy association but The Tower typically signifies destruction, a reference to the bomb Silverhand left in the previous tower.

The lost goes on: Strength is located where you meet Panam Hierophant is 50 yards from where you first meet Oda Lovers is in the same Drive-in where Rogue and Johnny have their date The Hermit is outside the VDB Headquarters Etc etc

It's nothing groundbreaking but it's an observation I had during my first run through a while back and thought I'd share.

What decision did you make for the Violence quest?

    Posted: 09 Jun 2021 09:00 PM PDT

My second time through this quest I decided to confront Liam even though I knew his true intentions with the Arasaka lady. What I found interesting is that the only reason he is trying to copy her is because he is concerned for her mental state, implying that she is showing early signs of cyberpsychosis.

I know the result of this quest, which is that after finding out Liam wanted to make a copy of her, Lizzie kills him. But, I can also just tell her that he's cheating on her, ending the quest and leaving the results up to speculation. My question is, what is the best option here? Do I tell Lizzie the truth, having her kill Liam even though he really just wants to help her (although he is still going behind her back)? Or, do I lie tell her he's cheating, supposedly letting Liam make a copy of her without her permission in an attempt to fix her and breaking them up?

The moral ambiguity of lying to her, ending their relationship, and having Liam make a copy to hopefully assist her fragile mental state vs. telling her the truth, letting Liam be killed, and preventing her from losing her autonomy really intrigues me. Unfortunately, there is no follow up for this quest, so all is up to speculation, but I'm very interested in hearing what you guys chose for this quest, as I think either side is a viable option, despite the quest's overall insignificance in the story.

    Arisaka company

    Posted: 09 Jun 2021 10:24 PM PDT

The arisaka company is Japanese correct? Also arisaka type 99 rifle was standard issue to the Japanese during world war 2. That's all just kinda found that to be a very interesting fact. Don't ask me why correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that was kinda cool.
