    I dreaded downloading the new patch after everything I read on here earlier. You could swear they made it WORSE.

    Let me start by saying I got this game for Christmas. I knew about cyberpunk awhile back but had no interest in preordering. In fact the last game I preordered was Majoras Mask for 64. But I knew I might have to wait to play.

    I did. I tried playing on my base ps4 and had an awful time. My main issue was frame rate drops to the point it was unplayable. That and the annoying ALWAYS getting a call from characters.

    Also, anytime I got in a vehicle i dropped to 10fps immediately. Not to mention all the bugs and crashes.

    I fired up tonight and ITS LIKE A DIFFERENT GAME. The frame rates don't drop even during combat and driving. The calls have stopped. The combat has improved. Driving feels better.

    YALL be smoking some crack here because this makes the game infinitely better to play. It makes it PLAYABLE. Don't trust everything you read here, for some this patch is what we needed to play.

    Hey chooms! I've got some more news about the upcoming DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077! This information was found a few minutes after Patch 1.2 went live. After today's update, CDPR has updated some of the information in the Add-Ons section on Epic Games Store.

    - Removed one of the DLCs without a name

    - Updated pricing for all DLCs

    - Added functional purchase links to each DLC

    - Added names to all DLCs without a name

    - Added an "Expansion Pass"

    Since the DLCs have purchase links now, I tried to purchase them on my own Epic account. When I attempted to get the free and paid DLCs, EGS would say "Sorry, but your account is blocked from making purchases. Please contact customer service." But the good news is that since CDPR added purchase links for the DLCs, they might add descriptions in a few weeks/months.

    Proof/Source

    Here's my take on these DLCs:

    - Ripperdocs Expansion: probably adds a few animations and cutscenes when installing new cyberware at a ripper. It might also add more rippers around the map.

    - Body Shops Expansion: Probably adds more options for tattoos, piercings, etc. in the character customizer and locations around the map to customize V later in the game.

    - Fashion Forward Expansion: This is obviously a clothing expansion.

    - Gangs of Night City: Probably cut content that was supposed to be in the base game but didn't make it at the time of release.

    - Body of Chrome: I think this is an expansion for Lizzy Wizzy. She is the only character that is mentioned to have a body that is all chrome.

    - Rides of the Dark Future: Probably cut content. I think it will add vehicle customization such as paint jobs and tuning.

    - The Relic: I don't really know what to make of this. Might be an expansion for Johnny Silverhand.

    - Neck Deep: I think it will include more endings or continue the Sun ending (that one seems unfinished to me)

    - Night City Expansion: I think this will be the most interesting DLC. I think it will add more interiors for buildings, new POIs and maybe options to buy apartments in different areas of the game.

    - Expansion Pass: Much like the Witcher 3, this is probably going to be a bundle for the 2 paid DLCs for a cheaper price.

    I like the changes in the patch - there are many more gangsters in the city, there are new scenes with them, the fight is much more difficult, the physics engine has been improved. Keep it up!

    Changes to core stats:

    • Resistances (thermal, electrical, poison, and shock): Now reflected in character screen correctly, albeit at reduced rate compared to item that gives it's indicator (example: I have only Cataresist equipped, common quality, supposed to give 8%, character screen reflects 4%). My resists were coming from Cool and are correctly reflected.

    Changes to cyberware:

    • Cataresist: Now reflects on character screen. Reflects on character screen at a reduced rate, see above. Actual damage reduction seems to be about as reflected in character screen. Nope, still broken, my character-screen resists were coming from level benefits of Cool, which I'd forgotten about.
    • Optical Camo (cut content/obtainable only via console command): Now works! Why did they tinker with this? You can't get it legitimately...

    Changes to cyberware mods:

    • Weakspot Detection (optical mod): No longer stacks.
    • Rin3u Gorilla Arms battery: Went from working too well for some people (worked for all weapons)/not at all for others, to underperforming--only works on KILLING blows done with Gorilla Arms (not incapactitating hits) and then only on first hit in a combo.

    Changes to clothing mods:

    • Deadeye: Stats reduced from 15% +crit chance/30% +crit damage to +7%/+20%. Now works. Now stacks with itself, Fortuna, and Bully.
    • Fortuna: Stats reduced from 15% +crit chance to 12% +crit chance. Now stacks with itself and Deadeye.
    • Bully: Now stacks with itself and Deadeye.

    Changes to Perks:

    • Crazy Science (Crafting capstone): Now works
    • Merciless (Cool capstone): Now partially works
    • Hasty Retreat (Stealth): Now partially works (significantly slower than the listed 50%, but at least it now does something)

    Crime Prevention System turrets: Significantly increased rate of fire, significantly increased accuracy on moving targets (went from never hit me while running perpendicular to it without sprinting, to almost never missing me sprinting perpendicular to it), significantly increased splash-damage zone (went from ~1m to ~5m)

    NPCs spawning in within LOS now "fade in" instead of instantly wholly materialize

    Only the first wave of a police response spawns further away/delayed, Maxtac guys still spawn right on top of you even if you've moved away from the crime scene.

    New color variations of some vehicles (I have an incomplete list, working on it).

    • Emperor SUV: Purple+grey urban camo
    • Quadra type 66 640TS: Cream and gold, cream and black
    • MaiMai: Matte black, off-white

    New inventory icons for grenades

    edit 1: Whether it was intentional censorship being reversed or a multifaceted bug being fixed, my characters have all shed the nevernude undies I've been stuck with since 1.12 when looking in a mirror naked. Hopefully this will apply to first-person views during regular gameplay as well.

    Some neat stuff I found in the new patch!

    I've been exploring the new patch lately and found a lot of cool details/things about Cyberpunk 2077. I'm unsure if some of these were here pre-patch, but nevertheless.

    Number one,

    V does a little dance/head bop when you're listening to the radio on a motorcycle. I've tried different stations to see if V does anything different - sometimes they do! From what I've seen, V will do the following: Bop their head, tap their foot or fingers on the handle. I tried it again a little later and V didn't really do much, just looked around. So I don't know exactly what causes this, but nevertheless, still hella cool.

    Number two,

    Since the newest patch, Johnny now has this fade effect when you go near him instead of all out disappearing with his floating cigarette behind. It's sort of a ghostly AI effect, and honestly it's super dope.

    Number three,

    V's face is now blocked/glitched out when you view them using cameras or turrets. Previously, this did not happen. I don't really know why their face is blocked out regarding that in one of the Evelyn braindance missions, the woman's face is blocked out and V comments "Has to be a really skilled netrunner." So, guess V is a really skilled netrunner? Unless I'm just remembering wrong. edit: Haha, I did remember it wrong - Vik gives you an ability to not show up on cameras :) Guess it was only implemented in the recent patch.

    Number four,

    Mirrors are fixed! I don't know if this was a common problem, but when you went to a mirror, V wouldn't look the right way at the actual mirror itself which made it a pain to LOOK at V. Which, looking at V is the whole point of mirrors, right?On the note of mirrors, something super dope I found while gazing at the mirror is that sometimes, when the relic malfunctions and you go to a mirror, instead of V in the mirror, It's Johnny Silverhand himself! Fuckin wild. It gave me a real scare first time I saw it. I have a video, but can't put it here because five videos is the limit! So bare with me. Here's a screenshot

    Some other stuff worth mentioning:

    There's a new relic button on where the old blank empty attribute point was.

    V no longer sleeps like a maniac.

    New icon for cars! So that when you want to do JUST gigs, you don't get overcrowded with car sales! Great.

    I'm playing on an Xbox, and it's faired extremely well honestly. The two minute wait-time just for the inventory to open is finally gone because of the patch. I can't say it for everyone, obviously - but I've really enjoyed this patch so far. Things are a lot smoother and not as clunky for Xbox.

    I think there's a new little section for the cyberpyscho missions in the shards section so it doesn't clutter up anything anymore. If this was there pre-patch, then, that's my bad. But it's there.

    A nice thing, Kerry doesn't stare at you in dead silence on the phone anymore if you ask him "How's the new album?" It's been patched at last! Dunno if that was an issue for anyone else, but it was highly awkward and a lil funny.

    Wonky running shadows were also fixed. Sorta. At least they look decent now.

    That's all I've gathered from this patch so far.

    I didn't expect this many fixes and it kinda shows how they kinda are dedicated to turn this game around. Yes there is still much to do, especially content- and quality of life-wise, but i'm actually looking forward to do another run in a couple of months if they keep up like this.

    During the investors call that leaked in December, CD Projekt said that npc weird behavior was a bug and that they would fix it eventually. After trying 1.2, there is zero improvement in the AI behavior

    The patch has more than 500 fixes with lots of npcs behavior fixes but after trying this new update they behave EXACTLY the same. Police doesn't chase you at all, they spawn from weird places that make no sense, and npcs still get down,scared and don't react to anything

    It's extremely dissapointing
