    Hey Choombas,

    Feel free to use this thread to ask any simple questions you may have surrounding Cyberpunk 2077 the game, it's lore, merchandise, or anything else related to it!

    FAQs:

    Will they release Cyberpunk 2077 early? What about a demo? Character customization early?

    As cool as that would be, it is very unlikely.

    When is Cyberpunk 2077 releasing?

    Cyberpunk 2077 releases on November 19, 2020

    Will you be able to preload the game?

    This is currently unconfirmed; however, it is a fair assumption.

    What kind of PC should I build? Do I need to upgrade my PC? Can I run it? What are the minimum specs?

    We don't know yet.

    Will Cyberpunk 2077 have mod support?

    Not on launch. Possibly later.

    If I pre-order the physical edition for PC, what do I get?

    A code to use on GoG.

    Can I get the physical pre-order goodies, if I pre-order the digital version of the game?

    No. You need to pre-order physical to get physical bonuses.

    Can I play the game in third-person?

    No. The game takes place almost entirely in first person. Some cut scenes and driving sequences will take place in third person.

    If I buy the game on current-gen, do I get a free upgrade to next-gen?

    Yes for Xbox One/Xbox Series X and for PS4/5!

    What about cross-save?

    Possible confirmation on Xbox ("pick up where you left off"). No confirmation about PS4/5.

    When can I get my next news fix?

    We do not currently know

    What are the character customization options?

    6 skin types, 35 hairstyles, 17 eyes, 8 eyebrows, 17 mouths, 17 jaws, 17 ears, 8 pieces of cyberware, 9 types of scars, 6 types of tattoos, 11 piercings, 5 types of teeth, 8 types of eye makeup, 5 types of lip makeup, three types of blemishes, 3 types of nipples, 5 types of body tattoos, 2 types of body scars, 2 types of dicks, 1 vagina option, 5 types of pubic hairs, and a range of dick size options.

    Can I play without any augmentations/cyberware?

    No, some will be required for a quest. An example is the Kiroshi optics and subdermal grip from the 2018 gameplay demo.

    Can I perform a purist (no killing) playthrough?

    Yes!

    Are there any Cyberpunk books, movies, games, music, etc, that I can look at to fill my hype for now?

    Royce: "Ya mean that piggy that went and fucked up half of Pacifica? He's still breathing? Hah!"

    Jackie: "Uh huh, that's right he's still breathin', fortunately. Ya want us to send a message or somethin'?"

    V: "You ready to listen to us now?"

    V: "The credits."

    Royce: "Hmph."

    Dum Dum: "Anyways, the Flathead is real capable. Not like I know what your sorry asses are gonna use it for."

    Judy: "Eve, I've been waiting for you!"

    Evelynn: "He's V- I've brought him here for the BD job. V, she's Judy, the best braindance editor around."

    Judy: "Oh stop- you're gonna make me nervous."

    V: "Nice to meet you, Judy."

    Evelynn: "How is it? Can you get it working?"

    Judy: "Well, the footage is still pretty damn close to raw... eh, I think it'll be fine."

    Evelynn: "As long as V can do a deep-dive, that'll have to do."

    Judy: "Alright, then let's get on with the setup right away then."

    Judy: "Compared to those nasty pornos that come in every once in a while from Jig-Jig Street, this shit's easy."

    Evelynn: "Then let's have him dive into it, and we can look at it later. Is that good?"

    Judy: "How about it V? A raw brain dance... this is your first time, isn't it?"

    V: "I'll be fine... just get it over with."

    V: "Ok, do whatever you need to- just hold off on stuff that hurts."

    Judy: "You'll be fine- this doesn't hurt."

    Judy: "Alright then, sit still and look at me. I'll start up the analysis software. It'll tingle a little bit."

    V: "Got it."

    Judy: "Ok, next is the setup for vision and sensory signals. Just like the vision test, focus on those two screens in front of you."

    V: "Do we have to do this long-ass setup every single time?"

    Judy: "Well, no, not really, but there's a value in doing it. Keep watching- you'll get how awesome BD analysis really is."

    Judy: "Uhhhh... after that i'll put in the pain limiter..."

    Judy: "Ok! We're all set!"

    Judy: "We'll start off with a test of your newly created profile. I'll have you get used to the editor using a sample BD."

    Judy: "Alright... which one should I choose...?"

    Evelynn: "Why don't you just use my memories? Isn't this a waste of time?"

    Judy: "Just making sure there won't be any problems- it'll be over quickly. Right... it was around here- ah, found it."

    V: "Start it up."

    Judy: "Yup, let's start by having you get used to the BD for what it is now, and then switch to Editor Mode."

    Judy: "Dive in 3... 2... 1..."

    The one thing I hope they learned from the Witcher 3 (spoilers for The Witcher 3 and its DLC)

    Having just gone back and played the Witcher 3 again (this time buying all the DLC and making it through Heart of Stone about to work my way through Blood and Wine) I realized the one fatal flaw for me of the Witcher 3.

    This is something I hope doesn't carry over, and though I doubt it will based on the fact it seems like after you beat Cyberpunk you'll have to live in whatever world you've made for yourself, but just in case I'll voice my biggest gripe, and hope it doesn't repeat in cyberpunk.

    The lackluster endgame. This isn't to say the end of the game is bad, I'm referring to characters basically disappearing or existing in perpetual limbo, seemingly forgotten.

    -Yen and Triss and Ciri poof out of existence

    -Ves has been gone the whole time

    -After playing Gwent with him Zoltan becomes a cardboard box just like Dandelion

    -Priscilla remains in the hospital no matter what Dandelion tells you about her recovery

    -Shani suddenly gets orders to leave and go elsewhere and even though she tells you to visit her after helping you, you'll get no new dialogue option and after completing the quest she'll be gone too.

    -Lambert and Eskel both poof out, on Keira is left but thats probably not really supposed to happen

    This is the thing I hope won't repeat, I hope even once the game ends you can have actual conversations with dynamic characters, and that it doesn't reach a world state where theres no one to talk to (unless there is a very bad end I guess but that'd be of our own creation).

    Anyway thats my one big concern, and though I don't think it'll come to be a problem, I at least wanted to get it off my chest so to speak.

    It is significantly easier to navigate and way less invasive with ads than normal websites. Also when i click the X it should not close the ad it should click on the ad obviously.
