Playing TW3 makes me really appreciate that Cyberpunk will be firstperson Posted: 10 Jul 2020 11:13 AM PDT I haven't played it in a year or two, but wow is the movement awful. It's an issue that plagues every third person game, especially games that are cover shooters aswell. Movement is just so clunky, and often you struggle to get your character where you really want to go. In first person when you screw up it's often a result of your own miscalculation, but in thirdperson it's like you're constantly trying to swim against a slight current. Because the camera decides the movement of the character just as much as your arrow keys, but the camera isn't from the perspective of that character. Often you get stuck on things you didn't see, or move in a weird angle. I forgot just got bad thirdperson was, and thank christ is cyberpunk in firstperson. I'm not a fan of having to 'drive' my character, and a FPP eliminates those issues. If HL2 was in thirdperson it would have been an awful experience and I think the same applies here.
