FAQ & Weekly Simple Questions Thread - Newcomers look here! (Week 30)

    Hey Choombas,

As per the title, it is currently 'Free Talk Friday' and this means that there will be relaxed moderation of rules 1 and 6.

This means that you can post your random Cyberpunk 2077 discussions, even if they may not be OC/making a new point.

    A couple of examples are:

    • Basic polls, like, 'What Console are You Playing on?'
    • Hype posts, like, 'This is Why I'm so Excited for Cyberpunk 2077
    • Battlestation posts, sharing your PC or console setup with a Cyberpunk 2077 theme

We will also be relaxing our moderation of rule 6, which means that you can post your Cyberpunk 2077 themed memes! Please note that there still must be some level of effort in their creation (i.e., reposting an unrelated video but changing the title is low effort), and they will still be subject to removal due to user reports.

    Ok I’m so confused

    Posted: 26 Jul 2020 11:53 PM PDT

Ok so I just recently discovered this game, well not recently I knew about it for maybe 7 months but I didn't really understand the hype until yesterday, and Jesus Christ I can finally understand why.

This game is so complicated. It's like life, so many possibilities and choices, and it's amazing. It's literally the game of the future, this is the game that comes into my mind whenever I imagine something like Ready Player One, that movie was great.

Anyways, I'm really confused on the whole classes/roles.

So I know there's the Solo which I would compare to a Warrior.

There's a Techie which I would compare to maybe a Mage??

And a Net-Runner which I would compare to a rogue.

But there's people talking about being corporate, or street kid or etc. and I don't understand that are those like subclasses to the classes or something? If someone could help me understand that would be great.

    Casual Gamer Questions

    Posted: 26 Jul 2020 12:17 PM PDT

    Hi Everyone,

Cyberpunk 2077 looks fun! I remember the playing the RPG game and reading the books back in the day with fondness!

I have a busy life with work, family, and life at the end of a busy day I like to relax and unwind and I often play computer games. Stating all that I am old, tired, slow, uncoordinated, confused, distracted, and have a beverage in my hand ... will I be locked out of content!?

    Also ...

I get horribly disorientated in 1st person, will this reduce my fun?

Is there an auto-aim, cos I have zero manual aim skills? Will this be an issue?

Is there a game setting like super easy so I can concentrate on fun and exploring? I suck at boss mechanics too,

Is this playable after I have done the main story campaign missions without having to complete mindless dailies?

    Cheers in advance

Will you be able to loot corpses?

In some scenes of the gameplay, the enemies wore really cool leather jackets. I was wondering if you would be able to loot weapons or clothing off of dead enemies?
