I have never been more excited about a game in my life. Posted: 25 Dec 2019 01:44 PM PST Up until maybe the middle of this year I was only vaguely aware of this game, but then I watched that long demo video on Youtube and I was immediately hooked. I am so on board with something so fresh and brand new to what we've seen in video games recently. We've had SciFi and fantasy and modern stories, but we haven't had a true dystopian Cyberpunk game recently and I am just so over the moon with the thoughts of all the possibilities. All the side missions, the main stories, the customization, the feel of the world, the characters. I haven't felt this way about a game ever and I'm so glad I can experience it and enjoy it with all of you guys as well. I cannot wait for April 16th. [link] [comments] | ||

For the best Night City experience, should I upgrade my CPU or GPU first? Posted: 25 Dec 2019 01:48 PM PST Right now, I'm running an i5-4460/GTX1050Ti rig. While a bit old and weak, it's also overall pretty well balanced. I plan to upgrade to some form of Ryzen 5/GTX 1660 setup, but right now I can only afford to do either motherboard+CPU or video card; the other will have to wait a while. But which one I do first depends on the answer to this question. So, do REDengine games lean more heavily on the CPU or the GPU? Which upgrade would be the better one to start with? --- EDIT - I forgot to mention that I already have 16GB of 3000MHz DDR4, and that the CPU/mobo options I've been looking at run about the same price as the GPUs I've had my eye on.
