Which district are you most excited for ( to see) ?

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 09:44 PM PST

Sort of put together from interviews:

    - "Watson ( from E3 2018 demo) was really colourful, full of many people, it was really crowded. Buildings there were once home to the bigger corps but have since become more run-down and bustling with life, with strong Asian cultural influences. A unique mix of Asian cultures, it is a fallen corporate giant now populated by immigrants, hiding various bazaars and markets in a tangle of narrow alleyways. ( Kitch/Enthropism)

    - "Pacifica ( this year's demo), on the other hand, is like this abandoned, eerie, mysterious district. The half-finished big money resort area is home to the Voodoo Boys gang, with people hustling to make a life for themselves amid the unfinished dreams of the rich. Separated from the rest of the city, it's a place of immense poverty. " ( 100% Enthropism)

    - "City Center... that's very much the corporate part of the city, where all the rich corporations are, so their buildings are really tall skyscrapers. That's the kind of place you can expect to find characters like Meredith Stout, who in the very first Cyberpunk demo, sent us on a mission to recover tech for the company. Night City's biggest pride, this is the heart of corporations, the cluster of neon, and the quintessence of luxury. ( probably mostly Neomilitarism/and some Neokitsch)

    - "Heywood which is completely different, there's a lot of Latin American influences there. Given that each district has its own factions vying for power, this area does of course have its own undercurrent of gang influence that will make it dangerous to traverse. It isn't all bad though; thanks to plenty of new money pouring into the up-and-coming district, it's also one of the liveliest parts of Night City. Living in one of the neighborhoods of the predominantly Latino area means you successfully managed to climb the social ladder -- it's a massive suburban housing district, with an underlying gang problem. " ( Kitsch)

    - "We have Westbrook. This is a more rich area of the city, featuring tourist-oriented Japantown, it is a place for the wealthy who like to work hard and play hard. " ( Definitely Neokitsch)

    - "Santo Domingo. [It houses] the power plants of Night City – all the power is basically generated in Santo Domingo. So it's very industrial and different from the other neighbourhoods, stuck in an endless cycle of modernization. It's toxic and people have umbrellas there because it's dripping down. It's a very unwelcoming place. Not only does it look different, but it's also dangerous in a different way. If you go to Watson at night in the streets, you will probably run into some gang. But in Santo Domingo, and especially in the factory areas, it's really dangerous because it's so polluted. People there are less friendly ( but then everyone in Night City is after something)". ( Enthropism/ +?)

"That's what this whole city is about. All these tensions between all these people in power." Every little thing makes up Night City, from the individuals vying for power, the layout of its streets, and, most importantly, its culture".

What's the most important aspect for you in a game like this?

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 02:44 PM PST

Like in term of the world - is it having fun places to drive, being able to explore every nook and cranny, or having lots of interactive elements (e.g. casino where you can even use the machines)

Or the gameplay - really good doom-like FPS combat, fun driving and other vehicles...

Or is it the story - having really good characters and followers and feel like you're in "The Matrix" or something

For me it's probably - Fun places to drive, interactive elements, and good FPS gameplay

Why is Nomad class so underused?

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 12:35 PM PST

It feels out of place tbh. No footage was from that class, anything we've seen was from Street Kid and a few Corpo influences. How's being a Nomad even going to work? They removed multiple apartments, so staying in the same house would break the lore.

It just doesn't have that many differences that being a Street kid, even the description is bland and basic. "Family and honesty is everything" yeah maybe, but not when you can choose to fuck someone new every day or lie all the time. It feels more like a sub class, than a big role you used to be. Like whats your previous experience? Knowing the best benches around Night City to sleep in?

Edit; There's a possibility that they didn't technically remove the multiple apartments, they just constrained them into the Nomad background.
