This is interview with Marcin Blacha - story director of Cyberpunk 2077. He have worked in CD PROJEKT RED since 2006, when he was employed after interview in the kitchen.

    Summary:

    - Marcin is responsible for the vision and consistency of the story. He makes sures that characters' actions match their personalities.

    - Despite managing a whole team, he still like writing dialogues what gives him a lot of pleasure.

    - In his opinion screenwriter job demands creativity, having a good ear for dialogues, logical thinking and broad mindedness.

    - Cyberpunk 2077 is story about characters confronted their world and world is also one of the game's heroes. It's something more than stories about small, personal dramas from Witcher.

-The most he likes characters with internal conflicts because they give him opportunity to create very emotional dialogues.

    - His favourite heroes are prisoner who is trying achieve his life's goal during one day on the pass, AI running a taxi company and certain wise girl who stands behind a counter in ezoteric shop and works part-time as a nurse (Misty from 2018's gameplay?).

    Please crush my expectations

    Posted: 29 Nov 2019 03:15 PM PST

This might be an odd request but I think it's for the better if I go into cyberpunk with low expectations. And if the game exceeds them, that just makes it even better.

I know the most important part for a lot of people is the RPG part, the story the graphics maybe even the gun play, etc (also cybersex)

But for me the most important part is the world, the city, the people and how you can interact with them.

I'd love to be able to walk around the city and find a hidden black market not marked on the map, or help someone who is getting robbed in real time, basically dynamic side quests. Almost like stalker.

Or even realistically rob a store, not like in Gta5 that you just walk in and walk out. Ride the metro, Ride the flying cars.

but im starting to doubt that a little, since I heard that they had to scrap the purchasable apartments (here are 2 threads that make me sad: one - two)

im basically projecting my dream game into cyberpunk, which i think might be a bad thing, basically exactly what was said in this thread

Thanks for coming to my tedtalk.
