Turf Wars? Posted: 18 Nov 2019 09:49 PM PST From what I see of this game it shows their will be clear indications of on district being against another, not to mention "The edge" or "the wall" we hear about. I don't know a good source of lore for this game so I'm guessing/hoping there will be a "zone" system like if you buy from vendors in one district and continue to raise the betterment of that district while lowering another so then it can be like a struggle between keeping one district "offline" and then it turns to rioting and looting etc. If this is the case it can provide a "grind area" where you can influence and create chaos in one place to garner creds and supplies only to later sell it off to your likened district. Each district having pros and cons to why you will help them, say one district might have special gear to purchase that you might not get if you partake in looting rioting etc; So the main thing I'm asking and wondering about what you think. Will there be rioting? looting? How will the "wall" be implemented you think? Will there be Turf wars? And if so how do you think they will pull it off? Will there be a distinct divide among-st each district that can on one hand if you help them, provide better equipment? while if you choose to let the district go "offline" and into chaos then maybe in a way you would fight through the rioting and perhaps secure specific locations that might help you in the long run? Also one more thing, I do NOT expect a multiplayer in the open world, I just can't see it happening well enough. I DO on the other hand think that multiplayer will revolve around sanctioned "death matches" that would be somehow similar to how the coliseums matches of Rome where held. This might tie into lore that in a future, death matches would be a thing you experience through media to involve the corps into profiteering off of death, as that might be a common occurrence in day to day life.
