Could Johnny Silverhand be the Villain? Posted: 04 Oct 2019 07:12 PM PDT Just an idea I had after reading this, what if Johnny is secretly manipulating V in an attempt to take over their body? From what little we've seen and heard of Johnny in game he seems to be a bit ambivalent towards V. Yes he obviously asks if V is ok, and occasionally comments on what we're, doing but he sounds kinda condescending whenever he's doing it. Additionally we know that Johnny has his own mission to reunite with his girlfriend, and seemingly also to get revenge/destroy Night City, so why would he trust some nobody mercenary to help him when he could instead figure out a way to do it himself? One last piece of evidence to support this theory. We saw Dex try to kill V in the E3 trailer and while we don't know yet if this is absolutely going to happen in the game it reinforces the idea that you can't trust anybody in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. So why should V trust a mysterious computer program that claims to be a long dead rockerboy? And vice-versa, why should Johnny Silverhand trust V to help him? [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Oct 2019 09:55 AM PDT I love the concept of being primarily a hacker that depends on drugs for just about everything. Basically Mr Robot. While I love the concept of drugs in games, I feel as though they're never implemented very well. Making everything blurry or shake detracts from the beauty of a game, and I don't want to play a whole game without being able to see properly. It would be cool to have some kind of rainbow visuals for certain drugs, but otherwise, how do you make drugs useful without making the negatives so severe as to make it infeasible to play a drug-dependent character? How do you think they will be implemented? Will it just be stat based effects like gain +2 str now and -2 int later? Any other ideas? [link] [comments]
