    Hey Choombas,

    As per the title, it is currently 'Free Talk Friday' and this means that there will be relaxed moderation of rules 1 and 6.

    This means that you can post your random Cyberpunk 2077 discussions, even if they may not be OC/making a new point.

    A couple of examples are:

    • Basic polls, like, 'What lifepath are you choosing?'
    • Hype posts, like, 'This is Why I'm so Excited for Cyberpunk 2077
    • Battlestation posts, sharing your PC or console setup with a Cyberpunk 2077 theme

    We will also be relaxing our moderation of rule 6, which means that you can post your Cyberpunk 2077 themed memes! Please note that they will still be subject to removal due to user reports.

    As we get closer to the release date, all we're expecting is another delay. All the posts are speculative of delays, concerned it may never come out, walmart cancellations, tiresome repeated memes about the yellow page of death and a drip feed of basically no info coming from CDPR other than they're busy working and eating cake.

    In terms of days to release, we're the same place we were when the hype was at max speed, and now look at it. It's like a soviet refugee camp for the last few glimmers of hope, women and children huddled together, gripping printouts of the preorder confirmations like they're searching for lost fathers in the mist.

    What i'm saying is, it's fucking depressing outside at the moment, and i used to come here to escape that, only to find that it's bled into here. Lame. I wanna bring back the happy times, the hype that made me buy a bunch of merch and posters and get ready to burn out my PC cranking the graphics to beautiful RTX goodness. I wanna speculate about how well i can colour my individual pubes, climb the walls using my laser guided remote tits, or how well Jackie and V are going to do as the story unfolds (yeah i know about Jackie obv) - but damn, if i see one more "It is getting delayed again" i'm done and i might just abandon the game entirely because even if it's incredible, this has entirely burnt the toast for me.

    With the amount of money they lost in stock and the amount of money there pushing for promotional materials. New York advertisment in the City, a whole cyberpunk themed bus, paying actual music artists for songs in game, cyberpunk paintings etc. This isn't cheap to do. And from a buissness standpoint, a fan stand point and a consumer standpoint. It's coming out the 10th of December if they wanted to delay it to next year they would have done it then. The games done and from what we know most of the staff are at home done with there work. I can understand why people are skeptical keep in mind another delay would be catastrophic for the company and they know it

    So after all this shit yall just don't stop with the "fuck this they gonna delay it again" attitude and it fucking made me wright this shit here.

    The game is ready and the only thing that keeps them from releasing it is because base versions of the XBO and PS4 are struggling to hit steady 30fps. They can't release the game only on pc cause they got some serious contracts.

    That being said CDPR can't afford to delay again cause December is the strongest month for sales and they got shareholders who are not gonna tolerate em if they pull off this shit again. They simply can't afford it. It would be a financial suicide to miss the season when games are selling the most and disappointing gamers and shareholders. To you all bitching about how it would be delayed again just know it's releasing on the 10th and if you got a PC or a next gen console you are gonna play it and it won't have any big problems at launch. Only people who can get fucked are the ones with OG consoles like myself. We could run into FPS issues and who knows what else. Everyone else is pretty much aight.
